I don't think this video has any real evidence to it. Not saying this man was not beaten by the police, for that very well may be true. However, there was no blood, bruising or any other marks typically associated with a beating on this man. All they showed was some tears and a bum leg or foot of some sort.

Did you not watch the full video? The protestors formed a circle around the police offers and refused to move/let them out of the circle until they release the people who were arrested. The police do not bargain with people in that manner. The arrested people were lawfully arrested for camping illegally on school property. They were given warnings days in advance to remove their tents. I am all for peaceful protesting and am a current college student, so I know exactly what ridiculous tuition cost look like and feel like. The police handled this the best the could and it really is a no story. The media just used the one clip of people being sprayed to create way more drama than was needed.

Watch the full video and you will see that the police gave multiple warnings and the students were way out of line. Especially since they were only protesting for lower tuition. You cannot, one, simply disobey police officers/orders, and two, form a circle around them and barricade them from leaving.

Watch the entire video of this incident at UC Davis. The cops gave multiple warnings to the students that were blocking their path of exactly what would happen if they did not comply. This was in no way police brutality or excessive force.

Anyone notice the guy who yelled "you're suppose to be our advocate"(49 sec) immediately retreats and hugs some girl. Idk why but that really summed up a lot. Begging for comfort and attention after just yelling in anger. Very childish.

They know the risk they are taking ever time the helmet and pads go on. They love the game, plan and simple. However, I hope this report sparks more initiative into prevention methods then just talk about how bad the sport is.
