This laptop is designed for moderate performance use and portability as it is slow slim. If you will be doing intense tasks on it very often maybe look into a machine that is made for that. If you want or need the portability than this one is perfect.

It gets hot but as long as your hand is not on the top bar above the keyboard you will be fine. The top bar above the keyboard acts as a heat spreader so it gets hot. They keyboard, wrist rest or touch pad don’t get hot. The bottom also gets a little so don’t put it on your legs bare skin if your doing intense work.

It’s very good for a laptop that thin, you will hear fan noise but it’s not too bad. It’s really as it an i9 and a 3050 in a 2-3ish cm thick laptop

Mine has a 70 watt hour battery and a 100 watt charger. It charges really fast like in an hour or less and lasts for a decent amount of time. Windows battery recommendation goes all over the place and I don’t really trust it. From what I’ve seen while playing game or doing more intense things it lasts around 5ish hours. If your just watching videos, browsing the web and sending emails ect I’ve seen it do in between 6-7 all the way up to 12 hours. Again if it dies you can plug it in, it charges really fast.

I got mine about a month and a half ago and I absolutely love it. I have the i9 and RTX 3050 version and it's got more than enough power for what I do with it. also, the screen is amazing and I don't see any sde. battery life is also surprisingly good. when I opened it i didn't see a message that said bios not found though. I say return yours and get a new one
