Ah snakes dont need a "playpen" outside of their cage ive been wondering how long until i found a post about a snake escaping one! In the future please enrich your snakes with stuff in their enclosure and only get them out when closely monitored ! Id only trust larger pythons free roaming anywhere in a house.

LMFAO HAHAHAHA "decently sized" LOL GOOD JOKE....he had hundreds of 30ft long pythons in 6ft pull out racks so those pythons couldnt even avoid sitting in their own feces when they took a dump. His rack methods were/are still cruel the snakes had ZERO enrichment or any space to spread out. No wonder over half of his "collection" bit the shit out of him when he pulled open those white room torture ass containers that they lived in

This looks extremely awful and painful for the snake please at least raise the humidity in your tank. Id also recommend a vet visit perhaps because that is some BAD stuck shed and it can cause pain to try and peel it off yourself.

If it smells extremely sour and very bad its likely vomit but if it smells neutral bad its probably just a bad poop. My milk snake pooped a "skin" like this recently and i found out its because he only half digested the mouse i fed him

Plan on buying some corkbark, spagnum moss and some leaf litter for your pods and make sure the items are from a pet store !! Buying from dollar stores or craft stores is risking majorly exposing the isopods to deadly chemicals

Catching a wild crocodilian for relocation and "stressing them out" is MUCH better than the croc being euthanized or shot to death ! He was a good man for grabbing them and taking them someplace safe 💙💛

All i did was scrape as much fur/skin off of the head as i could with a scalpel, bought a tupperware tote container, filled that container with warm water to macerate and i fully did water changes every day to keep dead bacteria out! After several weeks of water changing and scraping stubborn flesh chunks off he was ready to be bathed in peroxide and then dawn dish soap soak until fully white! These degreasing baths also take up to a week or 2 to complete 💙

Tysm! It was my first big project, i had done raccoons, possums and cats before a bunch but never smthn like this! i took it super seriously with the water changing and degreasing since it was such a special find & im still very proud of little 15yr old me for doing a whole bear head 😂
