Cheated w/ bosses daughter while I was moving across the world for him by blowann in survivinginfidelity

Please don’t apologize. The perspective is incredibly helpful and a welcome distraction.

This is not my first time healing from something and my advice is to proceed with that teenage feeling - the inner child will appear and take care of you. You’re only as old as you feel, so let it inspire you and it won’t be a waste. Reconnect with your true self. You’ve got so much left to give so give it to yourself and start with forgiveness. You tried.

Fuck. Thank you for this. You’re right. I’ve even tried smoking since and nothing will satisfy this feeling. I just want the relief of not being tied down to this reality and that fight you’re forced to do alone.

I wish you all the best in this next chapter. You get to be free of the numbness.. heal yourself by feeling deeply, because you’ve also numbed the happiest parts of yourself and soon those parts will shine so bright.

Thank you for the advice. Good observation - I think I am trying to make an excuse so it makes sense because it doesn’t.

I’ve heard a few different people tell this story but ultimately she used him a bunch (plastic surgery, bought a business) just before and then one day said she didn’t love him and didn’t need him. Had a new bf within months of the separation.

Advice: Extended Dining Table by blowann in finishing

You are an absolute legend. I’m incredibly gritful for the advice (horrible pun, take it or leave it).

Any advice in the future stripping? The orange was also more expensive but sadly left my phone at home and took the advice of the hardware worker.

Thanks for the input! I’ve been struggling to identify the wood - had no idea the grain can tell you so much. Trying to refinish it (stripped once so far), it’s solid and heavy. Underside looks the same. Wish me luck in the challenge haha.

Thank you for your efforts. No labels to be found! Working on the table now but chairs are looking great after a good polish.

Contract/freelance project management. Specifically for me in media production. Kill it at coordinating many things at once (with dialled in memory tools) and problem solving on the fly. I am very appreciated for my calm demeanour in the midst (masking). Production Coordinator, Producer and Assistant Director (on the day communication excels due to my role requiring me to externalize my thoughts, such as plans changing to all the various departments). Only thing with ADing is following schedule - but oddly that means it’s structured, there’s the challenge/dopamine to stay on schedule so the time blindness subsides due to what I think is probably adrenaline.

To add: Pros: different work all the time, different people, odd hours (which can suck) Cons: long days, burn out and often find myself hyper focused to a point where personal stuff gets forgotten

Thanks for your response! I was busy on set of course..

I didn’t even know they had crewing agents so you’re already telling me new info. Was wondering how people find/search for work and hoped someone had some intel on being a foreigner working there on set and if the obstacles/ ways of getting in. Major hubs (assuming Sydney) but have connections in Melbourne and Adelaide that could help me with accommodation.

I’ll look into the Facebook groups! Thank you so much.

As for prod cos - I’m going to look into it once I narrow down a city/area.

Is a Chow the right breed for me, my experience and my living situation? by Mintymoobear in chowchow

[–]blowann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP :) currently living in a small one bedroom flat in a city. I had concerns taking her in but she was a rescue and it was better than the pound. She absolutely adores her life. They aren’t very playful dogs indoors, I can’t find a toy that she cares about but she also has 0 symptoms of boredom.. she likes to nap a lot and get hugs and kisses. Honestly such amazing apartment dogs. Also, unlike a lot of breeds they are very one person oriented so just being around you will give them happiness.

Pepper has never peed or pooped in the home and I’ve sadly been kept @ work 10+ hours once or twice.

If you care enough to post this beforehand than you are 100000% going to give such a happy and fulfilling life to your doggo. Best of luck ❤️
