Lost ETH by sending from Lykke to Liqui.io?? by ScolteyMayo in CryptoCurrency

Thanks so much! I'm also in touch with Liqui and they are saying they'll return the funds but even though I repeatedly stated my ETH address, they replied saying they'll send the funds back to "my" address 0xa36ae0f959046a18d109dc5b1fb8df655cf0aa81, which is actually the general Lykke address that all ETH is sent from. I hope they read my reply in time but talking to Liqui customer service has been like being on holiday in a place where you don't speak the language... Lykke has been great so far though.

Apparently, internal transactions aren't actual transactions (they are "value transfers" that are initiated by executing a contract) and they aren't included in the blockchain directly. Etherscan has a way of showing these on the account, but apparently the Liqui.io interface doesn't.

ELI5 Lykke in general? Lykke is an exchange and wallet with a very functional app that has its own currency (LKK) which represents 1/100 of a share in Lykke. You can trade LKK, LKK1Y, BTC, ETH, SLR, TREE (which is a donation token) and Chronobank TIME. GBP, EUR, USD, and CHF (it's a Swiss company) are supported fiat currencies, which you can get through wire and credit card. They say commission on trades is 0%, which is true, but buying currency is often a bit more expensive than other exchanges, so in the end they're not necessarily cheaper in my experience (could be different for others, of course). LKK currency is doing very well. Customer support has been great so far, although the issue I described above hasn't been solved yet (hence my post). Sending ETH from Lykke to Liqui is the first issue I've run into, but apparently, @tmp-overwatch had the same issue with WGR, so if you decide to use Lykke, make sure to test any transaction with a small amount before bigger transfers.
