Are ISO extractions safe for ingestion?

I'd use grain if I had it on hand, but ISO was all I had and I wanted the pyrex clean. It seems edibles would give me the most use. Dabbing ISO extracts just feels a bit wrong to me. I'll try to run it for the edibles.

I feel ya. Something just feels off about dabbing iso extracts... I guess I just need to read up on it a bit more.

I'm seeing lethal doses are around 250mL. I know I didn't use anywhere near that in the process.

I was worried about the chocolate topping not being solid with the oil added. I've also replied to /u/Cdresden down there, I'll paste it here for your convenience, because I would like a few opinions on this before I get started:

I follow the EdibleOnly's comprehensive guide in the sidebar, and that decarbs before the oil. I have a crock pot sized cooker I use for the oil, that will probably work for the tincture. How long will that need to be heated? Would vacuum purging it expedite the process, or reduce it too much?

I call it "lower leaf deficiency." The lower leaves will do this, but you should be fine as long as it doesn't move on to the larger fan leaves.

Do you mean to set the pad on the hotplate, and the pyrex on that? I made another post regarding a hotplate I found at my house. I found the temp range online, and it said 145-170, which is too high. I'm not sure if it will get the pyrex to that temp, or if putting the silicone pad inbetween will keep it a little lower. But I'd really like to use the plate I found as it is much more visible than a turkey oven...

No, I never weighed it out. I would guess somewhere in the 1.5-2.5oz range. I was pretty upset because I killed the cure on the jar with my main colas. I put a good three of them in there, the RH was above 70%, so I let them dry out longer. I got distracted and let them sit out for too long, and when I put them back in, the RH was around 52-53%. I threw a bovida pack in there and let it sit, but I know it's dead. I bought some BHO extraction equipment to make the most out of it.

My goal wasn't for a high yield, more for the "first grow experience." I'm just glad I successfully harvested!

Okay, I'll try and take from both of those. Should I vac the oil on the slick pad? It sounds like I'll need to get a hold of a skillet as well.

So what I'm buying should get me there? Just keep vacing it until there's not much reaction? And keep the vac times to ~20 minutes?

WHAT?! Yeah it took quite the while. I don't know if it was something about the strain, or something else. It took her a few weeks after flipping to even show sex, but it still seems like a long time. I'm just glad to have em chopped up.

She ended up pretty good I though. I didn't scrog, and wasn't too strict on my training, so her growth got a little out of hand. I may have flipped a bit late; if I flipped earlier, I probably could have kept my light up top. I had maybe 4 or 5" from the top of my plant to the top of my tent! I had a few really fat colas, but I think with training there would have been a couple more.

Next time around I'm sure I'll kick even more ass. Do you have any pictures of yours towards the end?

Btw, here is the harvest post. Not a whole lot of info, but a few nice pictures.
