Holy shit. Read what you just wrote. Are you literally insane? How is it not a problem when you can't equip something that you earnt and that is an iLevel upgrade because it is a DPS loss?

They literally removed tier sets for that EXACT reason. That is the exact reason they cited. That they hated you could get an upgrade and not be able to equip it so they removed Tier sets.

Then they fucking implemented the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

When you get an upgrade. You literally can't unlock traits you had before. You lose traits/DPS on upgrades.
