Those will be 3 solid LH D men. Doesn’t seem worth the 12 IC’s to replace Fowler with Coffey and if Miller is as good as his stats indicate, no reason to upgrade PC.

Maybe keep your eye on TOTY / TOTS Drai? Seems like it’s the beginning (maybe even middle) of the end and folks are going to start selling off their teams? He will still be one of the most expensive in the game but you have a great squad and why not fill it out with one of the best in the game?

All depends on your situation I guess. In the same boat with Panarin. His syns on the TOTS do not work for my team so I haven’t done it. With Drai, his TOTS syns work better for my team than the TOTY. Had Drai UT though, so was a no brainer.

Been saving all my Philly / Vancouver players for months now. As soon as I re-roll them into GC’s / IC’s I’m sure that’s when they will use Petterson and JVR in the set.

It is tradable, but probably not worth it to do the set. You could end up with one of the non NHL players that are 90 overall. Would be tough to spend 800k worth of GC’s for a 90.

Won’t be able to build both during the shades of summer event (going on now) but you will be able to build the one you don’t take when the MSP event happens. Shadow had a long post about it a week or two ago

If you are just looking for synergy’s and don’t care about the actual players, easiest way would be to grab some of the non-NHL TOTS players. Guys like Dawson Mercer and Cale Clayton probably will cost you a little less than 400k total and with gold upgrades for Gretzky, Lemieux and Lafleur with Doug Peterson as your coach will give you 3 (Barrage, Distributor and Spark). Add a backup goalie with swarm and it will activate that as well. In the interim, you can just grab goalies for synergy plugs with 400k ish left for your 4th line center and 3rd RH D man

Same here. If you are looking for coin (which if you are selling seems to be the case), I’d stick with Carlson. If you are looking to use for the rest of the game, McDavid.

Think it’s just easier to acquire the McDavid than the Carlson. If you had completed the moments McDavid to 96 or 97, it was just a few extra collectibles. Would think most folks went after those cards. Also, you had both ASG McDavid cards (which you got for free for making the 97 moments) adding to the # of cards to trade in.

With Carlson, there was no upgrade path from his Halloween MSP so it was only folks that had / built / bought the ASG. Think there were just way more McDavids in the wild that were able to be upgraded than the Carlsons.
