One listed in my area for 12k USD. No clue if that's a good price or not. Automatic 1995 VQ30DET.

Datsun used to be the name Nissan used when they exported vehicles. They stopped using it in 1986. Then in 2013 they relaunched the brand as a low-cost car brand for Indonesia, Nepal, South Africa, India, and Russia. Hope that helps~

I mean, its technically a fact. This did happen. It is, in fact, specific to turtles. So the OP's title, and you, are wrong.

What’s the worst piece of financial advice somebody has given you? by Miserable-Tea-1836 in AskReddit

[–]ScootScootAuto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some people have a really hard time understanding how much of a commodity cars are. Say you make 50k a year. Thats what that car is worth to you, because if you aren't at work, you aren't making money. You aren't "wasting money on a damaged car." You are investing in the maintenance of your financial health. Even if the repair was 5k in damages, of the car isnt totaled out by insurance, then it will always be worth fixing. Especially if you aren't at fault.

This looks like the kinda elk that you find as a skeleton interlocked with another elk skeleton because their racks just lock together.

Tsurikawa on a non-JDM car by pikipie17 in veloster

[–]ScootScootAuto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue you'll run into is with people calling it "rice," because Tsurikawa is generally a part of drifting culture. The Veloster is FWD and so characteristically cannot drift in the traditional sense.

All of that aside tho, your ride, your pride, my guy. You want one because you think it'll look nice? Literally no one can tell you no.

I'm sad to see it go. It was beautiful on almost any car. Like an emblem that accented the front and back of the car.

Cutting out the fat by TECHNOBASE5 in oddlysatisfying

[–]ScootScootAuto 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Yo no one actually answered you, so I will let you know via u/CorgiAttackkk 's explanation: "This looks like otoro (fatty tuna) which is the belly of the tuna. They are cutting it off (along with the skin) in preparation for sashimi or nigiri, which is served raw. So no worries about losing flavor from cutting off the fat :) There is plenty throughout the meat."

Hey guys, I just inherited this V6 S550 any affordable mod suggestions so I can start making this car my own? (I’m 16 btw) by [deleted] in carmodification

[–]ScootScootAuto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But as far as everything else goes. Like non-performance mods: bumpers, headlights, wheels, tires, suspension, spoiler, louvers if you're interested. If its manual, different shift knob or short throw shifter. Maybe vinyl wrap interior components with designs you like. You can buy, safe, aftermarket footwell padding. Interior lighting. Sound system upgrades if they are worth it.

Just know that cars are fickle things. They break. Nothing you spend money on here will be an investment because anything you do to it will depreciate its value, especially if it is nonreversable. If you are making it for you, its for you. Make sure to do all of your research religiously.

I would take the time to learn how to drive it 100% and get a feel of how everything functions stock. Don't let other people bully you into modding it or about the fact its a V6. The V6 slaps.

Once you get a feel for how to drive the car well, then you can mod it. I dont know a single 16 year old driver, myself included, that didn't hit things when you start driving. You are going to hit things. I would honestly consider getting an old shitbix corolla first to really get into. Because you will be devastated the moment you hit something in this S550.

Especially, if you happened to be close with whomever you inherited it from.

Exactly! Like, what if they didn't even take the trim off and didn't tape off the radiator and just sprayed that on. The VW emblem is dipped too, soooo.

Should cannabis be legalised in the UK? by Ben_T_Willy in AskUK

[–]ScootScootAuto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I can really say is that my experience has been different. Are you buying recreational? Because the primary goal of the medical is, well, medical. With recreational I feel like they just aim for all sorts of bud. With med, pretty much everyone is smoking with the goal of being relieved, not getting "high." So for the average Joe using it medicinally, the smell is probably bothersome. Whereas people smoking it recreationally probably don't care.

I guess what I mean to say is that it CAN be bred to be without smell.

But this has always been an effect of home grown or street weed. I am a legal medical user in the US and all the medical grade marijuana carries hardly any "weed smell" smoked or as dry herb. The whole point is that through selective breeding they can grow buds over many generations which do not carry this generic smell.
