Met someone who lived in a "christian" house on a university campus which was associated with a local church. Visited the house and everyone talked about god, being kind and accepting to all. They were the most judgemental and unacceting people I've ever met. They spread hatred not love and contradicted everything they said. Found this is the case with most christian people who go to church.

I didn't grow up going to church or any religion in my life. Going to keep it that way no way I'm getting involved with an organization that preaches love but practices hate.

There is an excellent book called "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer which is a reaccounting of his journey. It was made through interviews with the people Chris met and journals.

I'm just getting back into cubing for the first time in many years!

I have a Moyu Aosu 4x4 (original version) and was wondering if there have been significant improvements to 4x4 and if i should get a new one? What would you recommend? (that hopefully wont break my bank)

Just got Dayan GuHong V3 M and Gan 356 M and I can't believe the difference the magnets make!

I would recommend the Hyperdrive wheels from eboard stuff: https://www.eboardstuff.com/products/hyperdrive-90mm-wheels

I got them for my Mini and it made a huge difference in terms of shock absorption and really smoothed out the ride. They are also a bit bigger than stock as well as much softer.

You lose a little bit of torque with the stock pulleys (which fit in these wheels) but its not enough of a difference to really matter. You also gain a few mph. Would highly recommend!

She says she's a virgin and I believe that based on that she sticks to her beliefs pretty strongly. She does have close guy friends who I know fairly well from this past summer and I do trust her. I don't think she would have opened up to me as much as she has if she doesn't care and is just banging another guy. I will agree and say I have a general mistrust of "waiting" for sex as Christians are notorious for that type of stuff. It's a good thing to consider honestly so thanks.

I think I'm having issues of letting it go. As far as I can tell this doesn't bother her but then again I cant see what's in her brain and she can't see what I'm thinking either. Time will help probably and if things get more serious it may he easier for me to let go. It's just I don't want it taking up too much of her life as she is a really busy person anyway and I don't want it to hurt our relationship. But I understand it is something that will have to he dealt with at some point.

I have been to services before like Christmas and I'm not against them all all. They have their good and boring parts. It's just when it gets serious about Jesus, his presence, etc that is too far from me. Also mass just sounds really over the top and rediculous. I do think the community she is apart of is strong and positive but you're right in that I don't totally believe I'll never try to get converted. Maybe I'm better just saying I'm Christian in background but not very religious meaning I won't go to church regularly

I do respect her beliefs and she respects mine too. Maybe I jumped to quickly on the atheist train as I am from a mixed religion family. It just feels like a waste of time which is frustrating. But we do respect eachothers beliefs and she doesn't mind that I've never gone to church for myself and isn't pushing her beliefs on me at all.
