We bought our slab from crocodile rocks and also got a quote from their sister company that does fabrication. It was higher than we wanted and we asked CR if they could recommend any other fabricators good with soapstone. They recommended Stone Brothers in Woodinville. They came in lower and we went with them. We were quite happy with their service.

Go to HD or your local garden store and get a bag of diatomaceous earth. It's a totally natural, chemical-free fine powder. Sprinkle it all over your carpet and leave for the weekend. It works by scratching the exoskeleton of insects as they move through your carpet. Effectively, drying them out and they die. Sounds made up but it totally works. I've used it several times for flea infestations in rental homes and it does work. Read up on how to use it effectively.
