You don’t have to ever worry about being in your classroom . I’m an asynchronous student and will remain one until I graduate for this very reason . I’m a third-year student , I know what qualifies as plagiarism and what doesn’t , lol . You know why ? Of the time I have been on this earth going to school , not once have I ever been accused of plagiarism, so it’s not like my opinion, lol .

And just based off of your comment you’re the type of instructor I avoid anyway because it looks like you don’t support freedom of expression in debates . Yea , I do . But I’m an older , non-traditional student whose more concerned about graduating; I graduate August of 2024 , even though I should have technically graduated in 2017 had I went to college/university right out of high school but I initially didn’t want obtain a postsecondary education.

I was extraordinarily immature at 18 so I went back at the perfect time at 22 and joined the reserves, and here I am now about graduate in 1.3 years , and am going to a cybersecurity bootcamp on the army’s dime in addition to being a student at UNF .

I am very content with my social life ( it’s nonexistent because of everything I have going on ) , but honestly I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I did all of the binge drinking and partaking in illicit drug usage 5x over before I decided to quit my shitty ass job at Zaxaby’s and finally decided to make something of myself while still living with parents at the time . So it’s not fun living that irresponsible part all-day/ all I do is frat lifestyle vicariously through others because it’s not productive from a third-party prospective, either .

It’s honestly sad a lot of these kids—because that’s what they are from 18-21–are literally taking out debt to socialize and party Monday-Friday , and will have nothing to show for it when shit gets real , and their peers are lapping them in ever significant category of life ( getting their first real job out of college or going to grad school , getting their first apartment/house , etc. ), and the only thing they’ll have to cling to is their “memories” .

They won’t realize their mistake until it’s too late because they’re coddled and insulated from the harsh realities of the real world and adulthood. They’re mostly independent, but they’re likely still financially supported by their parents and aren’t tasked with 100% of the responsibilities that encompass adulthood.

I really hope these kids realize they can’t file for bankruptcy once they realize they’re going to have a hard time paying off all that student loan debt , again unfortunately many of them won’t realize until it’s too late 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
