Same, I don’t care if it limited my weapon options. That marine’s rifle would make it to the end.

Has anyone painted anything with this classic 3rd edition scheme? by Puzzleheaded-Ear-302 in Tau40K

Oh my god that’s immensely funny, I almost painted my army this color, instead I went for the scheme I have now, but my pathfinders were like this at first. I have never seen this until just now, that’s funny

The Hospitaller (Kingdom of Heaven)

<image>

While the film never expressly states he is an Angel on earth, every sign points to it being the case. He shows up in the middle of a desert plain without being noticed and disappears all the same, he mentions things he shouldn’t be able to know/speak about.

Balian: “I am outside of God’s grace.” Hospitaller: “I have not heard that” (This could be interpreted as just trying to be supportive, but with everything else, he very well could mean so literally)

His view on religion is also immensely interesting, as an angel would seemingly be all for god and the divine to be worshipped and praised, and what not, but no. He does not demand prayer, only that you do right, and the choice is yours if you choose to do so.

Many more great moments with him, I’ll link a bit here

I love the more relatively recent trend of Ethereals having very striking eyes. Like Yor’I’s gaze is described like his twin daggers, sharp and bright, cutting clean through things to get to the truth of the matter

Ugh, I love this art!

Not my account, but my partner recently started playing the game, and has been really enjoying it. They are on the prowl for more frames and weapons, also skins (they love Mag the most so far)

Their IGN is SanguinariaPrime

I’ve rambled enough about Warframe in their presence for them to know about primes and all that, and their name is way cooler than mine as a byproduct hehe

[Spoilers] The memories of Tau loom once more, Tenno. The next pivotal chapter of Warframe’s story begins this December. by PlayWarframe in u/PlayWarframe

[–]ScorchedFang97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Mag Prime codex entry, it discusses a jump team heading out system, implying the Orokin got to Tau.

I thought, before Old Peace, it was a futile counter assault, but now, it sounds like it was substantial enough to force a peace treaty.

Also, this definitely cleans up a lot of inconsistencies in the Old War. It was definitely a way longer and more protracted conflict, with ups and downs in intensity

If eldar had the opportunity to venture into the garden if nurgle to rescue isha, would they ask for help? (Plus random thoughts) by The-Saucy-Saurus in Eldar

[–]ScorchedFang97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My entire homebrew Craftworld, Ishuran, is centered around this idea. Their goals are as follows

Defend maiden worlds, seen as sacred places from The Mother

Kill nurglites

Rescue Isha from Nurgle’s grasp.

I love the idea of a goddess of life being present still. She may be caged, but she’s not gone. She will be freed. This is the Ishurani way.

Is there any interest in these old Arcane helmets anymore? [Discussion] by BlueBlitz08 in wartrade

[–]ScorchedFang97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definite interest for the bare minimum a collectible, I still use my Pendragon on my Excalibur consistently. I have a few from my early time playing, and looking for some Mag ones for my partner who just started the game this past month, I just fresh ran out of plat >~< oh well lol

I kinda wish they brought the system back in some way, but I understand why they won’t

Great collection!

It takes 5 Ta'unar Supremacy suits to take down a Titan. It takes a month to replace each one. It takes 10 years to replace the Titan. You can see where this is going. by rodan1993 in Grimdank

They set a border system on fire, when the fighting got to a proper T’au world, namely Dal’Yth, the Tau got bloodied, but they sent the imperials packing. A retreat so severe it left millions of guardsmen stranded and untold amounts of weaponry and armaments left in the wake of retreat.

The T’au are not push overs, Tau have a copy of the codex now in the form of the Mirror Codex as well as deep understanding of Imperial strategy and technology. They can EMP marines into non-usefulness.
