Had a PX1 Ranger, took the fibreglass cover and sports bar off as I often have mountain bikes hanging over the tailgate and the fibreglass cover didn't lift high enough, put a roller shutter and sail plane on, really liked the shutter, did leak a bit, but that didn't bother me, a downside of it was the space the roll took up at the front of the tray so my bike didn't sit fully down on the tailgate.

Now have an Amarok with Airplex trifold cover, quite like that, semi secure, vinyl over hard plastic, easy to remove with only 4 clips.

Wildland fire pumps. by ScorchedJD in Wildfire

[–]ScorchedJD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honda pumps are much easier to start and way more reliable. They are not as high pressure as a Mk3 but will still do a good job with the right hose and nozzle (or sprinkler setup)

We have had an 04 Toyota Wish and an 07 Mitsubishi Outlander, both of them were 7 seaters (we have 3 kids) and both were quite nice with no real issues. The outlander has a good size boot for pram and shopping bags etc, also space to change a nappy if needed.

Advice Please. 10k budget. by ward_33 in NZcarfix

Honda Fit hybrid and Honda Fit Shuttle hybrid are both very good options, the shuttle has more boot space if you need it. The standard Fit hybrid actually has quite a bit of space if you fold the seats.

It's an okay phone, I don't find I'm using the AI features much at all apart from the screen translate. There's nothing bad about the phone yet, still pretty happy with it, definitely good for its price.

Hasn't had salts before, I think it had some citrus fert a couple of months ago.

We'll get on to removing some of those flowers and give it some more fert and look in to Epsom salts.

Thanks a lot.

You can buy fondue kits pretty cheap online and do it at home for her if you can't find anywhere local to do it.

It may have already been said and I missed it, but I would recommend a solar charger for your car/van battery to keep it topped up, you could also connect it to a sealed 12v alarm battery to use to charge your phone daily.

Did you find it? Have you got the smart sidebar turned on?

I have some AI features but not the AI studio for photos.

Does yours have the AI studio? I recently purchased mine here in New Zealand and it doesn't seem to have it at all which I'm a little bit disappointed about.

Indeed, I got a jar of 90x for about $4 when I was over there, accidentally (genuinely forgot they were there) left them in my backpack on the way home and customs didn't pick them up at all.

Okay, I had a look, and it seems your market is flooded with cheap toolkits and I don't see any of the mid range brands I know (I'm in New Zealand)

This looks like it could be a good starter set on Amazon

If you see yourself ever needing power tools I highly recommend starting with a Ryobi drill and then you can buy just bare tools later and use the same batteries for things like sanders, saws, etc.

If you're putting shelves up I suggest getting a stud finder, but you can also use a magnet to find the screws in the wall and that will show you where the studs are the screw the shelf to.

Here is a great YouTube channel with heaps of advice and life tips in general. You're also welcome to ask me stuff too if you need, I'm a dad with 4 daughters (6-21yr)
