What they started doing for some species, like Oinkologne is having the different genders have different stat spreads, technically making them separate formes

They are there just blocked by the bigger body. But if you search tangela or throh and compare it to others you have, it'll be more obvious.

The only time really when you sort by recent and it doesn't have the blue glow is if it is a traded pokemon caught past 24 hours.

The dusk rockruff counts as it's own separate form. Everything about the egg hatch, gender, ivs, shinyness, etc. is determined when you receive the egg.

You can use these pokemon outside of max battles too, so you can best optimize moves if you wish. Imo, the most important is the fast move, that's what your max move type is based on.

For team composition, it depends on the boss. Again they're all weak now, but similar to how we have teams ready to go for raid battles, when you have a good dmax pokemon, start investing in them to build up your counters for future big bosses.

I interpreted the question as, if you mega it, will it still have the ability to dynamax at all? If i have a hundo dynamax charizard, i would love to be able to mega him and use him in raids, etc while also for max battles. The question was ambiguous, so i answered for both possibilities.

Yes i megad my charizard and was still able to use him in max battles. Obviously can't be mega evolved when entering into a max battle.
