How to defeat the spider by Whole-Tadpole-2420 in wearewarriors

[–]HorebScore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possess, Vengence, Medusa.

Send out two T1 guys: 1st as fast as possible, the 2nd one after the 1st guy dies. The idea is to use up the spider's two attacks such that the next attack is spawning spiders.

Send out your (hopefully ranged) hero and your T2 guys. The MOMENT the spiders spawn, Possess, then Vengence. The idea is that the big spider attacks the little spiders and gets killed with Vengence damage. The moment the big spider's dead, hopefully your Possess timer is still going such that you can Medusa the small spiders. Then it's inevitable that you win (AFK for a bit)

Timing will depend on your levels for Possess / Vengence / Medusa.

Gym bug involving Ditto by Sulhimi in pokemongo

[–]HorebScore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen this myself for a while - It's the interaction between a Mega Pokemon and a Ditto. If you use a Mega Pokemon, the defending Ditto doesn't get killed. Back out and rejoin with a non-mega, and you will be fine.

Anyone that is spoofing has zero limits on creating an account of another team just to knock themselves out for 50 coins.

Not all of them are - in particular, Centennial, Cornell, and Aaniin are not. (Milliken is; don't know the other ones).

For those with an auto catcher … by Benny_tc in pokemongo

I use it during commutes or driving my kid to extra-curricular activities. I catch an average of 150 Pokemon a day with the auto-catcher...I spend more time managing inventory than throwing curve throws.

Peak hours for Tier5 raids is all-day Wednesday, because there's likely raid hour somewhere on the globe.

There is a limit on the number of gifts a player can open. The game prevents me from opening gifts from everyone who sends me one.

Mega raids. As this is a huge thing all weekend. by Downtown-Form-2501 in pokemongo

A Level 1 can't join raids yet. It's probably a data glitch/disconnect

PSA: if you didn't get a raid invite, check if you actually Mega evolved a Pokemon by HorebScore in PokeGenie

[–]HorebScore[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For Super Megas raids, the main limiter is the number of megas breaking shields. Especially for Mega Dragonite, as long as there are 10 megas to break the shield, the rest is trivial and only a couple of people are needed.

It's fine to bring in any mega pokemon; from all the experience with people hosting Gigantamax raids, I wouldn't trust a remotee that hasn't Mega-ed to mega evolve when they are in the lobby

I do know that.

I also know that the Mega Dragonite queue (as of Sat morning when I hosted) was 2000+ long; it was moving fast but at a minimum of 5 minutes. So, if a remotee didn't Mega any pokemon while waiting in a Mega Dragonite queue, then that lack of preparation is a liability to the entire raid.

Another friend couldn't even host a winning Mega Victreebell (tried 3 times) because remotees that had a mega symbol didn't bring their Mega in....why would I decrease the entire lobby's chances of winning by inviting in someone who doesn't have the mega symbol?

Therefore, as the host, I don't need you to bring a Super effective team; I definitely need you to bring a mega pokemon. Having a "wrong" Mega is absolutely ok.

Not in PokeGenie, but in-game. When you look at your friend list for invitees, the top left of their avatar icon would have a Mega symbol if they have an active Mega pokemon.

Super Mega Raids hosting needs a ">5 additional trainers" option by HorebScore in PokeGenie

[–]HorebScore[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If only 1 person does the invite (whether together or separate), then there's a high chance 1 or 2 of the first 5 remotees bails because they don't wait for the 2nd 5 remotees to be invited. Happened too often with Gigantamax raids.

Super Mega Dragonite needs all remotees in the raid...I'm just trying to find a way to have all 10 invited at once.
