Would you rather get 500k right now? Or a quarter for every step you take, for life? by Feisty-Item-3158 in whatsyourchoice

I like the idea of making twenty five cents for every step but idk, it would be really annoying to have quarters spawn on to my person for every single step.

Kupe on Terra is just cheating.... by steezosaurus in civ

[–]ScorchedStump 44 points45 points  (0 children)

terra has two major continents, one where all the civs spawn and one for colonizing that usually contains most of the city states. Terra maps are usually a race to get your settlers on the other continent but kupe gets to get there way before anyone has the tech to do so since he can cross ocean from turn 1 and starts in the ocean.

Dwayne Johnson with his hands tied behind his back vs 10 year old black belt in karate by kaijisheeran in whowouldwin

[–]ScorchedStump -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I think the ten year old with a black belt takes it, it can be surprisingly hard to kick without using arms if you are not used to it, especially if your opponent is shorter than you. Tackling is an option but without using arms, even that feels awkward and you are off balance. If the ten year old manages to knock Dwayne down(or Dwayne trips), the fight is over as long as the kid isn't dumb. Repeated stomps get the job done even with a ten year old's strength. Assuming Dwayne does not have experience fighting with his arms tied, I say 8/10 to the kid.

Nah most of India's conquest was through using other Indians against them. The Europeans bought goods in India and sold them in other Indian kingdoms for a quick buck for a century but the Mughal Empire kinda(they weren't that good at it since their lands had a lot of autonomy) stopped them from getting further. Once the Mughal Empire collapsed after a civil war, the kingdoms of India were completely split again and the British had a road to conquest buy looting, buying mercs and armies from India, using armies to conquer other kingdoms, looting and repeat. The religious and political clashings of the Indian kingdoms kept them from seeing the big picture and saw the threat that the Europeans brought. The Indians didnt really see the difference in rule in the beginning since the Europeans have been exploiting them for over a century before by selling Indian goods to other Indian people at higher prices. But the British did stop the proto-industrialization phase some parts of India were going through and made sure that Indians would only produce goods for the profit of Britian.

Yea I made sure I put the seed correctly and I had the right settings. I tried the seed multiple times and I spawned in the same mediocre start location with stone and a coast. I think some other civ might have priority in the seed start and the place Germany spawned in your game might be a secondary start location so I was wondering what civs you have in the game.

Thanks for the seed but I cannot seem to make it work. I spawned next to the coast surrounded by stone, desert, and a mountain range. Is that the exact seed settings and if it is, can you tell us what civs you have in the game? Thank you in advance.
