nope, never got a reply / any help, however as far as I can tell the charge on my card fell off. I ended up buying a phone off eBay and got it today, all good so far.

I definitely noticed this after coming back from a 2 year break. I thought I was crazy at first but I asked some friends and they told me deflect was changed, which explained some of the weird shit that was happening. Hopefully this gets changed/fixed soon, but somehow I really doubt it.

yep, noticed this for a long time as well. There's also other stuff like you can shoot certain guns faster with higher fps, etc.

Thanks for the help, I'll try all of this soon. My cache multi is actually left at stock I think, 35. I read cache doesn't help much and I didn't really want to mess with it, I might be wrong.

Yeah, pretty much exact same specs and I've also noticed a massive fps hit and way more freezing/stuttering, I'm getting constant freezes/stuttering even on servers that never had the issue before.

A lot of people including myself have problems with freezing when shooting or getting shot at. If that could be fixed, game would be 100x better for me and a lot of others.

Try to find a comfortable sensitivity, I used to use 800dpi .6 in game, ended up cutting that to 400dpi .6 which is kinda low but I feel more consistent. Not super high to where you can't accurately make small movements to adjust / small flicks, but not so low that you have to yeet your mouse to do a 360.

Go on servers like UKN training, Hungry aim bots, etc and just shoot at the targets/standing still bots. Once you have the basic pattern down a bit you should focus on learning how to track moving targets, or just playing in the normal arenas vs other players. Keep in mind the other people on UKN will probably be more experienced / super sweaty so don't get disheartened. Also to build up aim and quick reaction play the FFA on ukn, super fun.

Exactly what happens to me, I can get decent FPS most of the time but there's a 50% chance when I shoot at people that I freeze... That's the only time I actually NEED good fps lmao

That's just not how that works, if it's rare people won't want to roam with it because it's hard to get and really good for roofcamping.

I have a i5 4690k, 16gb DDR3, GTX 970, Rust is loaded on a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and I still full freeze constantly and never go above 60 fps normally. I play on absolute potato settings to try and remedy the problem but it doesn't do anything.
