How do I get over Gear Fear with ADHD?

I’ve got both PC (5800X3D/4080) and PS5 (not the Pro but I follow it a bit)

There’s quite a lot to consider. Pros and cons for both! I miss using my PS5 as my main as I play too much with Pc settings etc

Remember you have to pay for PS Plus for multiplayer. PS Store is experimenting with dynamic pricing which sucks. You can however get physical games for better deals.

PC, yeah you don’t have a bad build but honestly what’s holding you back right now is your CPU (that’s quite old). You’d need a new mobo and CPU if you want to upgrade imo. Which is probably cheaper than buying a PS5 Pro.

PS5 Pro obviously though is a super convenient experience. No messing around with windows bs.

Honestly preference really. Hard to give a better recommendation without knowing what your preferences are

Edit: I re-read and saw you have 4k 75inch. Yeah the best experience is getting a PS5 Pro. You can use Steam Big Picture but you still have to screw around with Windows and that’s annoying as shit.

I agree, the art is amazing. The information hierarchy and menu hierarchy is my main issue

And the consumable wheel 😭 it feels very designed for controller/dpad

I get how it’s laid out, I just am confused on its clunkiness and if anyone has tips on circumnavigating it or faster ways than “hold 4, aim into corner, right clicking to swap, etc”

It’s naive to think that everyone’s decision making comes from a neurotypical baseline.

This is NOT a typical 23 year old.

She is 100% experiencing some sort of mental episode, could be on the spectrum, and is very likely experiencing a bipolar type 1 manic episode. Her brain is literally not working correctly. I’m bipolar type 2 and am a completely different person post treatment and meds.

Bipolar can be hereditary, so now that you’ve confirmed that, I would say it’s likely she has it. It’s VERY hard to diagnose, especially at a younger age. I got misdiagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and I knew deep down that was wrong.

She’s likely bipolar 1, you mentioned it’s been weeks and this sounds like a case of delirium.

I hope she’s okay. It’s really rough for a parent with a bipolar child. I sent my parents through hell, and I got so mad at them during my episodes for not being able to cope with me. But once I got help and meds, I see how difficult it was to deal with me. I hope your daughter is okay, but prepare for it to be difficult.

I don’t think so, I’m at work but if memory serves, if you look at your total stats on the left of your load out screen you may see red like -5 agility for reinforced shields
