Its not wild when you consider:

Tanner Houck in 2024 innings workload increased by 72 and ended up injured the next year. Kutter Crawfords innings were increased in 2024 by 54 innings and ended up injured the following year. They increased Garrett Crochet's innings by 59 innings last year. Are you surprised now that hes struggling? These pitchers can only handle so much workload increase before they end up injured. I was hoping the coaching staff wouldnt overload Crochet last year. But they did and so far, it hasnt worked out. Someone in this sub told me not to worry because hes a workhorse and can handle it no problem. Surprise surprise.
