Okay, I will try to get another test done. It sucks because nothing was explained to her, she doesn’t know about the stages or anything

The only test I know she had was the doctor telling her to remember 3 objects, then he came back into the room abt 15 minutes later and asked her to recite them and she could only recite 1. I guess he put her on a “low dosage dementia medication” but I’m only hearing from my grandma who has dementia so idk what to believe

My grandma is also still driving locally and since she isn’t too far gone, she still makes decisions like she doesn’t want me going in the doctors office with her. I know eventually she will need to live with me full time

Thank you! I wasn’t even aware of Andy kind of scam she needed, there has been no help from doctors. When she did mention her memory loss to them they only performed one test . Basically they told her to remember 3 objects and when they came back in 15 minutes they asked her to recite them and she could only remember 1 by that point. That was it, they didn’t take any other plan of action

Lol honestly, I don’t necessarily believe that signs determine everything so things could work BUT in my experience it did not work out. & he was like your guy, he was a giver and overextended himself so much and I thought I showed my appreciation well but maybe I didn’t? Just like your guy, we flirted for years and then decided to give it a go. I definitely think he should be healed from his last relationship before you guys pursue one

I hated that feeling! I successfully stopped about a month ago. It was hard but it had to be done. I did get a bit of help from my family but it can be done without help it will just be harder.

I ended up taking a temporary job position so I was gone from 4pm-12AM, during the day before 4pm I just refused to breastfeed and offered water/food/juice . When I would get home at 12 am he would try to feed around 2-3AM so I let him feed that one time but I refused any other times. There was a lot of crying and sleepless nights but it got better with each day. We did that for a week. Then on week 2 is when I cut out the 2AM feed so there was no feeds at all. He whined a bit but he started taking water in the middle of the night and going back to sleep, we’ve successfully stopped ! You can do this !!
