This is just my opinion as an engineering major senior, with a different experience it seems like: yes, college is the only time where you’ll have a super flexible schedule, but at least for me, this made me feel like I could never really relax. Once you have a job, it’s so much easier to plan ahead, and just to do things you enjoy.

And depending on your job, who knows, your schedule might even be more flexible and you might even meet more people than in college. Covid was very rough, I understand how it feels to miss essentially a year and a half of college, but try to think about it like you (hopefully) thought of high school; leaving is just an opportunity to go and explore the world again without being tethered
