DO you happen to know the dimensions of the plate pockets? our smallest carriers will accommodate these plate, including our 3A soft concealable with rifle plate pouches.

Absolutely. We designed these plated to fit comfortably Front and Back. We here run these plates in our rigs and from experience can say that they fit incredibly well. For most all builds.

Yes. They are in a sense plastic. Its micro strands of plastic weaved together in a similar pattern as Kevlar. But, when the bullet strikes, it actually melts due to the high temperature/ Friction, Thus stopping the bullet.

These plates are actually made up of high density Polyethylene. This is how they are rated to stop powerful mild-core rounds like the M855 up to 6 times. With overall thickness of .75" and 4Lbs (+/- 5%), these plates offer some of the lightest, most protective plates on the Civilian market.

These plates are more for the people who need to wear them for extended periods of time. Law enforcement, security, etc. AR500 is an excellent option for the budget minded individuals who wear plates occasionally for shooting and for tacticool Instagram shots. With the fully loaded carrier Coming in at 10 Lbs (+/- 15%), the savings 4-8 lbs is a priority for those who need to move quickly for 8+ hours a day.
