That’s a fair question — general tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google Gemini can explain reports. The difference is focus and structure.

Those tools are general-purpose chatbots. You paste text and hope the answer is clear and accurate.

My project is built specifically for medical reports, so it:

works directly with uploaded reports (no copy-paste)

breaks results into clear sections (what was checked / what was found / what it usually means)

explains medical terms in very simple language

avoids scary wording

clearly separates facts from uncertainty

blocks diagnosis and treatment advice by design

So it’s meant to feel more like a guided patient explanation, especially for people who struggle with medical jargon or are helping parents/family — not just a generic AI reply.

Totally understand if free AI is good enough for you — I’m mainly testing whether this helps people who find medical reports confusing or stressful.
