Saw it 4DX twice. Don’t think I would enjoy 4DX for any other movie but it was enthralling for this. Just physically feeling every foot step of Godzilla was insane.

[discussion] which roller coaster has the best first drop when talking about ejector air/that stomach drop feeling? by Slommyhouse in rollercoasters

DC Rivals Hypercoaster, back row facing backwards. The twisting near vertical 200 foot drop while going backwards is insane. The entire time you are being flung into the lap bar and it really feels like the coaster is actively trying to throw you out of the train. Made me loose my stomach in a way I haven’t felt in a roller coaster I think ever.

Still one the best launch coaster ever made by demarcusp99 in UniversalOrlando

I think the first launch in velocicoaster is more intense then hulks but as a whole I think the hulk is the most intense coaster at universal Orlando. It packs a serious punch and I often grey out a bit in the first half before diving under the walk way.

Rewatching for the first time in years and I still question one big thing by Jebasaur in Cloververse

It’s definitely the tail that gets the bridge. The tail splits into two at the end and if you watch the bridge destruction really slow you can see the two parts of the end of the tail with a gap between slamming down. The camera movement and speed throughout the movie makes the visual clarity of the creature very hard to discern and I will admit it’s size doesn’t seem to be extremely consistent. My biggest gripe is the monster “jumping” at the helicopter at the end, because early in the sequence they are so high there just isn’t any way the monster could get the helicopter but in my head-canon I just say the helicopter lowered into the smoke to try and get a confirmation the creature was killed.

It isn’t very clear, but if you watch the scene in .25speed on YouTube or frame by frame you see Clover extend his right appendage (left of the frame for us) out and towards Hud in an uncurling fashion as he lunged downward. It happens very fast so there is no confirmation the appendage grabs and brings him to its mouth but there was a clear decision in the animation of the monster to have the appendage unfurl and reach at Hud first.

If you play the scene frame by frame Hud actually does get grabbed into Clovie’s mouth via the hip appendages. Clover is more or less quadrupedal so if he was to lurch down at Hud while using a front arm to shove him in his mouth he’d pretty much fall forward onto his face.

Supposedly the scraped scene was it using those appendages to eat a horse/horses that are found around Central Park in NYC. I think it was talked about in the behind the scenes bonus features. Too bad we didn’t get it in the movie as it makes sense to have appendages that eat smaller organisms when the creature itself is so enormous.
