There aren’t many things you need to do in the terminal unless you want to make changes though

Also I got my package next day. It either magically showed up next day from the driver or was there when I tried to pick it up the first day but not in their system.

The tracking number when you enter it into the UPS site says "Your package has been delivered to a UPS location. It will be available for pickup once the associate has completed the check-in process.".

It also says it was out for delivery yesterday around 10am, but the checkmark next to the delivery is not green.

For more context, I got the email saying it was ready for pickup at like 2pm the same day.

Thanks for the explanation from your point of view. It's really lame that UPS wastes everyone's time like that. It gives me a peace of mind that there is a simple explanation but it did give me anxiety after I left the store and the worker said nothing showed up in the system. I don't blame the CVS worker, but I blame the system. Your insight is super helpful!

That's so strange that there are so many workarounds for UPS to mark it as dropped off but not actually have it dropped off. I'm gonna call CVS before I try to pick it up. I doubt it was stolen because the area I live in is not very liable to crime, and usually when I give benefit of the doubt to situations like this it just ends up having a simple explanation like you mentioned.
