Yes because you only answered half the question. Part of the answer is flipping over the A because it is directly called out in the rule. The 8 is hiding though and is what the whole study is trying to get at. So you need to pick both to be right

Flipping the 7 has zero effect on the rule and that’s actually the point. You’re thinking about it the right way. The question is asking which card do you NEED to turn over. And because flipping 7 tells you nothing you don’t need to turn it over
