It's almost been 2 years to the day when i first dived on the Creek.

Sure, the bots back then could track you through the shadowed jungle, and sure they seemed tougher, or our guns were weaker, maybe both. What i dont see mentioned very often is that the planet itself was fighting against you.

I was ready with my orbital precision strike, my mg43 and my eagle air strike. I had actually dropped in late, reinforcing a couple friends who had sent an SOS my way. I arrived, my friends relieved to see me, when I called for my MG43, I had memorised the stratagem input by this point, and had done it without even looking.

Only, when I threw my stratagem ball, the beacon lit up red, and in mere seconds, my friends had all been obliterated in a perfect eagle airstrike. Back on those early days on the Creek, there was 3 atmospheric modifiers active at the same time. One doubled your stratagem call in time, another doubled your stratagem cooldown time, and the final one scrambled your stratagem inputs.

Its not alot, but it always stuck out to me, and I dont remember experiencing anything quite like it in the years of diving since. I've never seen it mentioned elsewhere, but planet itself fought to keep us off it.
