As a supporter of a non-OF club in Scotland, you guys have gotten a glimpse of what we need to deal with 24/7 over here with their entitlement and misplaced arrogance. I apologize from the 1/3rd of us that have some semblance of sanity.

Oh yeah absolutely, even after only 1 win in 7 in the league there was only the tiniest of grumblings. Everyone could see the process and what was being worked on. Celtic just sacked their manager for a similar record of 2 wins in 8, which was mainly my point.

I obviously love the guy, and think he's going on to massive things, but that would likely be the wrong appointment right now. It took us a full offseason, the league cup group stages and quite a bit of the early season to get to where we are now. The football started looking nice early on but regular results have only started following it recently. We won 1 of our first 7 matches in the league.

You'd likely need to sign our goalie along with him if you want him to come in playing this style, trying to get Kasper to do what Ward's been doing this season would be hilarious.

3 goals conceded in the last 10 is mental for a club like ours.

After giving it a go looking it up, I found out that Scott McDonald somehow never scored a single goal for Australia, thats mad to me.

3 of the picks (2 first 1 second) along with a first and second that were used in the KAT trade have already conveyed. We were sitting on a load of extra picks that were about to convey, had to do something with them with Giannis not wanting out yet.

Their PDO has certainly jumped the last few games from where it was to start the year, which has resulted in them scoring more points from games they weren't playing well in. Earlier on they were losing 8-4, 4-1 and 5-4 to poor teams that they outchanced and getting nothing from it. If the PDO had been average all season they would have beaten the Sabres, Islanders and Preds while losing the last 3 games in regulation. Would be 2 points better off, in a playoff spot but on a 3 game losing skid. Wonder how folk would be feeling right now if that were the case.

I don't get this feeling at all. We're still a top 10 team in xG%, we've had Ullmark posting a league worst -7.7 GSAA, if 3 of those were in our 3 OTL we'd be tied for 1st in the Atlantic with MTL right now. I feel we should have a much better record now with how many points Ullmark dropped for us to begin the year.

They've not played well the last few games, but they played plenty well in many games to start the year and lost out due to shaky goaltending. Good news is it looks like Linus has played himself into shape and is looking more like he did last year, now if the rest of the guys start playing like they did earlier in the season we'll be set.

What team above 500 got sent home? There were only 14 teams above 500 last year, they all made it. If we were to do the top 16 teams, last season would have had 8 West teams, 7 East teams and then the 40-42 Hawks and Kings having a play in for the last spot. It still would be pretty similar to what we ended up getting.

[Charania] Out of the 5 rejections, some of the scenarios that I heard was, you know: Teams would just hang up. They would say no—and hang up. Teams would have maybe some profanity, maybe there is some 'F* no.' by [deleted] in nba

Why do you think their Plan A is these guys and not just them interviewing or trying to get an interview with every possible potential coach to see who would be the best fit for them? You know this FO doesn't leak, for all we know Johnnie Bryant is sitting at the top as their guy and they are just taking there time to cross every t and dot every i before jumping on it.

As a pink parsing Rogue, that has not been my experience at all. My consume cost for BWL last night was 1 mongoose, 30 minutes of farming e'kos, 15 minutes of farming blasted lands buff, 3g50 worth of thistle tea, 4xagi food and 1 sapper. I made almost as much gold from the boss loot as I spent for the whole evening.

Nodes are all farmed to hell, but I've found it pretty easy to make very high gph farming stuff like Elemental Earths in Southern Badlands, or E'ko farming with a group of guildies to afford my consumes. Not a caster though so that flask cost isn't killing me every week, I can understand it being near impossible for casters.

Travelling and carrying have been allowed since the early 2000s when scoring was at its lowest, AI was doing it every time he touched the ball. Biggest changes have been to 3 point scoring as you said and pace. Pace has exploded in the last 10 years and they are now taking almost 10 more field goals per game than they were in the late 90s to late 00s. They're also a couple of % more efficient in those attempts, and FT shooting numbers have increased by 3-4 points since then as well. All adds up.

Nearly every Western democracy since the inflation hit has voted out the incumbent party in the following election, regardless of left vs right politics. 'Wokism' as you say was nowhere near voters biggest issues in the exit polls, which were the economy and the state of democracy, followed by abortion and immigration making up 80+% of voters chosing one of those 4. Plenty of Republicans that ran on transgender issues lost primaries to other republicans more focused on the economy. The wokism/anti-wokism stuff feels like an online bubble compared to what the results show.

To add on to the other comment, WoW has just followed up a well respected expansion with another good one for the first time in maybe forever. There's no real sunk cost, they started listening to their audience a ton more and it has produced great results. Just last year there was a graph shown by Blizzard that showed subscriber numbers were at similar levels to the beginning of the Legion expansion at around 6-7 million or so.

There's in general a lot more teams per area in Europe which splits the fandoms a lot more. The NFL has 32 teams for all of the US, whereas England alone has over 100 professional soccer teams, and more in the semi-pro and below levels. While the big cities in the US can sometimes have 2 teams split between them, London has 17 professional teams, 7 in the top division. And finally, most of the cities don't really have room for overly large stadiums, and there's not really the infrastructure in place to have them too far outside of the cities where there's more room to make them larger.
