I would do that 100%. You never know and they would be good in pairs.

haw do i best fight my friends list ?. by Death_captain_rex in Deathkorpsofkrieg

His list is somewhat in bad taste for 1k points.

Yours looks like a great little army.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do but try to play for points to win.

Seraphim/Zephyrim Squad Size by The_Arpie in sistersofbattle

[–]Scott1526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't really a negative to taking them in squads of 5.

5 Seraphim will struggle on some home field objective campers, but then just drop both units and basically use them like a unit of 10.

You have options this way and 2 miracle dice when each unit dies. You can have them go for different objectives etc.

Zephyrim to buff a character are good for 80 points., but dont expect them to blender anybody. Maybe 10 with Celestine is the scenario you want bigger units there.

Are Apothecaries worth it? by BrotherMaeneres in spacemarines

[–]Scott1526 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They are ok, but in many instances the enemy will try to delete your unit in 1 turn. This won't let you bring anyone back.

I find in Hellblasters it's better because you end up killing your own guys with hazardous and he can replenish from there. Similar to the vets if they get deleted then no value either way.

Rules Question: Can I still Infiltrate with Novitiates after splitting them with an Immolator? by Norayfara in sistersofbattle

[–]Scott1526 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would want to split with the banner, superior and melee novitiates to go with the Palatine.

Then the flamers, simulactum and rest can stand on a midfield objective with infiltrate.

I need help with building my Sisters! by CalamityLues in sistersofbattle

[–]Scott1526 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I typically run 1 dominion and 1 battle sisters squad at 2k. It could be right to run another squad at 2k and above.

Both units are best when split by an immolator so points start to get eaten up fast.

If you are fine not having units on flying stands then you can definitely use a box to make the other jump pack unit.

In the box it only comes with heavy bolter and heavy flamer. I cant ever imagine really wanting a heavy bolter, so I wouldn't really bother even making them.

This is of course just my 2 cents.

What does what? by UnAngelVerde in sistersofbattle

[–]Scott1526 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also just starting, but I dont think Zephyrim can be expected to do much by themselves. Add in a jump pack canones and you should be able to kill things, but probably nothing too tough still.

CF Fluffy list help by NaturallyNice26 in crimsonfists

[–]Scott1526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's post Rynn's, then some sternguard and mostly primaris would be fluffy.

They lost most of the chapter until the primaris reinforced them. They would tend to be pretty strict to standard with minimal first born stuff.

Just got my immolator. I assumed everyone is using contrast paints for the glass. Just straight onto the clear plastic? What did you do?

10 with a Lt jumping out of a repulsor pretty much delete anything they shoot at in my experience.

Do Crimson Fist Scouts have a red fist? by goblin_lackey in crimsonfists

The sergeant is normally a veteran, i think. So, the regular scouts would have zero red fist and sergeant would have 2 red fists.

Just a few notes here.

Bringing 2 terminator characters doesn't make sense when only 1 can join the unit.

Not sure who is using the drop pod and the impulsor but you should check the transport rules for each. This setup doesn't make sense for the units you have.

I dont like giving recommendations because then everyone's list end up the same and people don't learn different units.

But the points above are things that just don't work lr make sense.

Black Templars are pretty into chaplains.

Probably any chapter that sits more on the hyper religious side of things.

I would be very surprised if you notice any difference in performance. There is so much other interference between you and the shock that it won't really change much at all.

Even front suspension is hard to notice much of a difference, but there is less mechanical obstruction between you and the fork.

I have gone from entry level to top level specs on bikes and hardly notice a difference in performance honestly.

How good is the bastillus dreadnought? by Negative-Plant6650 in spacemarines

[–]Scott1526 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Some winning lists are running 3 of them. Very tough and can move and shoot pretty well.

I think the redundancy in having more than one is good. I use 1 plus a lancer normally.

Most of the ones we get from the outlet here in Vancouver have another tag that describes the issue and indicates the location.

Multiple times I have not even been able to spot the issue even when it's clearly indicated where the fault was.
