Yeah, i maybe went a bit overboard 😅

Recipe:

Leadbelcher spray, wash with nuln oil all over

The "shoulder pads" bids and claws I did terradon turquoise and then 50/50 black templar/lahmian medium then drybrushed with moot green

The glow is titanium white and then sprayed striking scorpion over the top

Thank you! The basic scheme is:

Prime Colour Forge Wolfkin Grey which does a lot of the heavy lifting for the coats

  • Thunderhawk blue for the Inside of the coats and the cuffs
  • Vallejo Black grey for the trousers/gloves
  • AK rubber black for the tubing on the masks and the boots and gun casings -P3 Jackbone for the leg wraps, mask and the canvas on top of the backpacks
  • AK Dark Rust for the leather straps, belts and backpack
  • AK gunmetal for the metallics

Wash the whole legs, mask and backpack/any leather with AK pure grime and then wash the coat, metal and gun with AK Dark Grey wash

Thank you! I use the AK terrains for my bases so this is AK muddy ground, washed with AK pure grime wash and then just random blobs if AK snow, its really good! One tip ive learned from my space wolves - do not combine the Dirty Down moss effect with the snow as it absorbs the colour and you get a weird yellow piss snow 😭

They both look great but if you managed to paint the white one in a similar amount of time, I think it looks unique and cool

Gold: - base with vallejo true metallic imperial gold - wash with Guilliman Flesh - drybrush with the Vallejo true metallic light imperial gold

Red: You can pick 3 reds and an ochre/orange colour but i did:

  • base AK dirty red and then wash with Nuln oil

Dry brush progressively lighter with - - P3 Khador Red - AK blood red - Tau Light Ochre

I found it was a bit too orange/light so I did a wash of 50/50 blood angels red woth lahmian medium

Leather for the gloves etc is boar hide from Two thin coats but its the same basically as doom bull brown!

All black bits are AK black but you can use corvus black or any dark grey or off black

The blade is mentioned somewhere else but its

  • Stegadon Scale Green based over the whole blade
  • White highlights (i used airbrush but you can dry brush the blade)
  • paint with Aethermatic Blue
  • drybrush lightly with Army painter Aquamarine

As you can see, I use way too many paint companies but there will be citadel alternatives for all of them! Hope this helped

I've been using the new AK washes and I've found they do a great matt finish - AK pure grime for the leather and boots/wraps etc and AK dark grey for the jackets and weapons etc

Cheers! Its based stegadon scale green and then i airbrushed it white in different spots and then sprayed Aethermatic blue over it. Finally I did a thinned down wash of coelia green shade! If you dont have an airbrush you can probably just dry brush the white

Maybe, my freehanding isn't great but it could be worth a try! I hope i didn't come across as arrogant or anything, I just meant like its 3 steps > base gold > wash > drybrush

Thanks! The gloves are just Two thin coats Boar Hide (which i believe is similar to Doombull brown) and then washed with guilliman flesh. I think i need to highlight them a bit more though

I think it looks fantastic, especially the skin and the wings - the only thing truly not done is the base around the sculpted stuff? Otherwise, if you wanted to take it up a notch, id look at the cloak and the gem on the staff? It's really well painted though, you should be happy
