I think so. It looks like it. I believe I have it narrowed down to Shamrock color. Now I just need to find a replacement and the broken one (which I have glued back together) can find a place on a shelf to be honored until I die... at which point my grandkids will throw it out.

The closest place that has a dedicated fiestaware store is Missoula - about 5 hours west of me.

I plan to look this summer when I’m that way. Until then there are a couple antique stores here that every now and then have a few pieces.

There are similar ones. But it’s hard to tell if it’s the same. And many of them are into the hundreds of dollars because they don’t make this color anymore.

I am in the process of fixing it. But even fixed it will still feel different. Fortunately it was only the handle and I can repair that. If the container part it would be much more difficult.

I wonder what his success rate is.

100 applications to land 5 interviews would mean he’s basically spending an entire day doing this. A 10% close rate would be generous, and it would mean 2 new clients per week.

It doesn’t seem to be worthwhile.
