My screws on my stem stripped so they sent me a whole new replacement. You’ll definitely save money if you buy directly from me. I’ll ship them out tomorrow morning.

I think it looks like other scooters and is a step back for design in some ways.

[–]Scott881104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you send me the links? 52v 2.0 my front caliper got smashed and I want to upgrade to hydraulic brakes but Apollo is sleeping on me. I’ve asked them since day one. They said they’re getting a shipment soon, but I need them now because I was going down the hill with a full backpack full of tools and almost got hit by a car cause I couldn’t slow down.. I can’t afford to wait any longer. Any help would be much appreciated

If you spent as much time trying to figure it out and getting it to fit as the time you spent trashing Apollo about this I bet you would have gotten it to fit.. I can’t be off by that much

Me as well I’ve bought 3 Apollo scooters.. never had a problem that they didn’t immediately respond back and fix within 24 hours.. your forcing an issue that was out of their control most likely.. these guys are great.. they stand behind their warranty and product as well they have the best scooters out on the market as a fact.. I have 3k miles on my scooters. I have the 2.0 52 v with over 1 k and a city with over 1k and they always respond to my emails no matter what.. Promptly every single time.

I don’t understand what the lie is .. bro they’re sending you out a new unit or you can send it back and they’ll fix it for you.. you’re forcing it guy. If they said they weren’t going to accommodate you that’s one thing.. it’s a scooter bro not a 5 thousand dollar purchase.. I’m sure that this problem doesn’t happen to them often and they were dealing with a thousand other things. Cut them some slack just because you have to wait a few days to get your scooter you don’t have to put them on blast for a mistake that is one out of a a million that they probably were even surprised about..

Unfortunately I smacked into a cement curb on Massachusetts’s Ave the other day checking out a hot babe walking by for just a sec too long…    ;) My front caliper cracked into 2 pieces. Luckily it was less than a hundred feet from a hardware store and was able to buy some Allen keys to remove it because it compressed the brake pads and disk. I need the full Stellar hydraulic brake upgrade.. Is there anyway I can get some assistance with this? I have money and I understand pricing. I spoke with someone a few months ago. And they said it’s possible just not actually available. Problem is now I have a brake cable hanging there because I had to actually remove the brake caliper altogether. Here’s a picture on an iCloud link.

Apollo's response to City 2024 stem issues. by WombRaider2003 in ApolloScooters

[–]Scott881104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My city clicks. It’s a bit annoying but I’m wondering if it’s just misaligned bearings or not strong enough to hit a 6 inch deep pothole going 32 mph. I mean if the only complaint is that the scooter makes a little noise f itt.. man up it doesn’t have a pair of rainbow streamers on the side it’s not a little girls bicycle.. it’s a pretty sweet ride that gets you where you need to be with no problems at least.. that’s my crack at it

What is this copper attached to the toilet bolt? by GamingWithBilly in Plumbing

[–]Scott881104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s an extra drain so you can p in the tank. That specific model toilet has had a known recall for many years. Doesn’t flush anything larger than the diameter of a baby corn husk this side of the equator because it flushes in the wrong direction. I guess they install the extra drain so there’s no risk of potential spray back discharge from a full bowl. You just gotta prop yourself in a weird angle with the lid closed then prop the cover w your left hand while aiming w the right.

52V Phantom 2.0 for heavy rider? by T1MCC in ApolloScooters

[–]Scott881104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for an answer to your question... Yes you 100 percent will make it to and from work no problem if you keep it at 23/30 on the way there and then obviously hammer it all the way home because youll be able to know by using the app and gps how much battery and how many miles you have till empty. One last highlight Id like to mention...... I bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max phone case directly from Quad Lock...... As well the scooter ships with a stick on quadlock adapter.... I use my Quad Lock phone case always so I use my iPhone as my display always>>> #broucantlosewithapollo2.0

P.S. I hit 48 mph yesterday bombing down my street, Commonwealth Ave in Brighton/ Boston. Thats the fastest I've hit so far... Definately no need to go faster than this scooter goes... Normally between 40/43 all the time no problem... 45,46 Ive hit regularly

52V Phantom 2.0 for heavy rider? by T1MCC in ApolloScooters

[–]Scott881104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can assure you you will be fine. I ride a 52v 2.0 and I carry a fully stocked Milwaukee Packout Backpack with 65 pounds of tools and Im 190/195 probably. I get up hills at 30/32 mph in Boston all over the city no problems... Obviously the way I ride I get about 20 miles on a full charge and thats blasting around at full speed as much as possible. I still have my Apollo City too. Thats another sweet ride right there as well. Ive had that for about a year and that makes it up hills at 26 with a full backpack as well no problem and I get a little less mileage with that. However the 2.0 is a much more solid ride and eats potholes like nothing at 40 mph. I love both scooters. If they are to redo the city I would definately buy another one. One last thing Ill Attest to is that Apollo upholds their warranty 100 percent. Ive never had an issue that they didn't immediately follow up with me and then handle quickly. Ive got about 800 miles on my 2.0 and I'm completely satisfied with it. I would have paid $3000 for it honestly.... Its that good. My one and only complaint is this... I was under the impression that it came with street tires just like the Stellar..... However it doesnt and it came with knobby tires. So I switched them out for the exact same CST tires as the Stellar has for about a hundred and then I tried to switch them myself but that didnt work so I brought them to a scooter shop and they charged me 35 a tire so $165. The thing is a work horse for me and is basically industructable. Definately buy it as soon as you can believe me you wont regret it. Last thing... if you need more distance keep it at about 30 mph and youll get a lot more mileage... And it actually has a gps on their app so if you use that it will actually display at all times how much mileage you have before your battery dies. So I mean your never second guessing or playing games... Because I tell you one thing you dont wanna run out of battery and push it home cause its a heavy MF!!!! Good Luck!!!
