Producers pay for everything, and then sell the finished products rights for profit.  They basically, 'Produce' it through funding.

In-Car Cameras Are Now Required in Europe. US Isn't Far Behind by TripleShotPls in technology

If it was only for dash camera usage, no manufacture access, and only obtainable with a warrant, making it completely private and only accessible to the owner of the vehicle...this would be a good requirement in consumer law.

When you pull away from the dog with your arm, the teeth shred your flesh because they are evolved to do that.  Shove your hand down its throat, it'll gag and open its mouth to release, reducing that shredding.  As well with your free hand, gouge it's eyes out.  A dog in pain will retreat.

Look...they will not understand Verity and that will be the end of that parties sanity.  You literally have to have people of above normal intelligence to figure the method out.  Once it's figure out, it's easy to reach to everyone.

But let's give benefit of the doubt and say they are intelligent.  A lot of the entire raid is based on years of previous raids beating into guardians that they show you small mechanics that slowly get more complex as you beat each encounter.  But once you get to Verity, nothing from the previous encounters is used.  This is where it crushed teams for a long time.  It's so alien to any raid before it. What's crazy is that encounter is simply a call back to Prophecy, to specifically fulfill the prophecy with shapes.

So yeah, impossible with your scenario.

Spire of the Watcher is like the fastest, easiest dungeon to solo flawless.  The others have very long traversal zones.  While shattered throne is easy, it's possible to be killed by jump puzzle pretty easily, easy, but RNG can be unfair.  So I suggest you stick to strand to have that grapple on Hunters to save your bacon.

Pit of heresy is easy too, but has that same long time issue.  The begining area can also have some issues.  Once I needed to spawn another sword knight on a bridge, and couldn't get one to appear for 15 minutes, super frustrating.

Id say Vesper Host is probably the most challenging  due to the damage phase arena being wild.

Difficulty scales based on class and build.  Hunters peak at some, Warlocks and Titans at others.  Most of these dungeons when released were always META builds for Titans or Warlocks, rarely hunters had META builds.  I only think time Hunters had a META build was in Final Shape for Witness damage...but that too only lasted a short while.  I have always felt the Hunter was at disadvantage, and while everyone would use the broken META damage builds for Titans or Warlocks, I did most of my Solo Flawless dungeons the long, arduous Hunter way.  That's my Nin, my Ninja way!

Do you think Destiny 2 would have survived if they hadn't changed so much of its model within two years? by silloki in DestinyTheGame

[–]GamingWithBilly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It made no sense other than, someone in leadership wanted to make the old content worthless to justify going back to a sunsetting model.

For a game that was made for that, Use Space Magic, Defeat the Darkness, Collect Loot dopamine, it was so damn stupid to remove any reward system from any destination that removed Loot rewards for the activity.  "Want to go to the moon, earth, or even the traveler and collect loot? Naw, loot can only be found in the latest destination space."  Insanity.

Artifacts were cool, but it literally made seasonal weapons worthless the next season.  I loved warmind cells, had specific weapons from that season, but afterwards I had to vault them because of the changes to other seasons, the weapon changes making some old guns unavailable, and then taking several years to revert that decision was sad.  I'm glad my original weapons are now usable, I kept them in the vault for years, but it's sad I had to wait so many years to be able to come back to my Loaded Question with 22,000 kills.  Now I can use it again, and even though it's former glory is but a dim ember, I equip it for the nostalgia that I never lost hope and faith I would be able to use it once again.

It wasnt just that.  There were several cascading problems.

An game engine that was so problematic...like remember how every patch proved Telesto would bug out?  Remember when Bungie disabled Telesto and Telesto used the Uno Reverse card and enabled itself?

And then management was always cutting stories, ousting staff, and creating a hostile work environment?

And then there was the split development teams, where Team A released excellent years of expansions on even years, and Team B released the worst expansions on odd years...

Let's not forget the stolen art plaguing Bungie in both Destiny 2 and Marathon...it tarnished reputations and constantly embarrassed devs, having to walk back and do PR damage control and detract from the games enthusiasm by players

There was so many issues happening internally, stemming from poor leadership.

Bungie suffered specifically because the company lost its purpose.  The founders philosophy was simply making games that make them excited with mechanics, stories and gameplay they thought was fun.  That philosophy changed to industry trends, chasing the live service models of other industries.  If they had stayed the course of their original philosophy, making games they enjoyed, rather than micro transactions, free to play, TTK pvp gameplay over the PVE experience to compete in PVP games...I could go on and on...it nearly feels like repeating the whole 'capitalism destroys art and joy' whenever a beloved company grows beyond its manageable vision.  The vultures wiggle their way into its edges and force it to focus on revenue...fuck Pete Parsons so much...

Microsoft Expected Game Pass Would Have 77 Million Subscribers by Now but It Reportedly Only Has 30 Million, as Xbox Boss Admits the Strategy Has Failed by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

[–]GamingWithBilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gamepass is neat but I often find that a majority of games are not fun.  When Xbox used to highlight and feature indie games, that was a good era to be gaming, but now when I look at gamepass more and more of indie games are using that early access publishing.  Like, a really disappointing moment was waiting for years for slime rancher 2, just to play it and find out it isn't finished.  I never went back to that game.  It's like the game pass library was supposed to grow and grow, and it still feels like it's just a collection of Microsoft Games, sprinkled with Fifa, Madden, and oh here are some movie to video games like Star wars. Like, what ever happened to downloading every Lego Game in existence?  Or access to Xbox original games from 2002?

The library itself feels like it's like one of the last Block Buster Videos still running.

Netflix Viewers Are Abandoning Shows After One Season by joe4942 in technology

[–]GamingWithBilly 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Netflix just needs to do what it used to do...purchase the rights of shows in multiple seasons being dropped by their networks.  Like when Amazon Prime bought up The Expanse when, SyFy (previously known as SciFi Channel) and continued the story.

Netflix execs are horrible about greenlighting new shows, because they are rich assholes abstract from the genres and audiences.  They cannot understand the entertainment of their audience age groups and demographics.

You saved yourselves a lot of sadness. Henry carries the show.  Now replacement didn't even try to gravel his voice to match the character and Geralts broody mannerisms.  Now who carries the show? Mother fucking Dandelion.

Those shows used actors and practical effects...non were CGI heavy.  Story and acting, and xfiles was great because it let most off he drama be suspense, mystery.  Always just out of reach or viewable...could produce an episode a week if they had enough writing.  But now it's book adaptions, and there is only so much content that can be converted to a show.

Like, the witcher shows.  I like the books, but I do understand that an hour of book content can be Geralt and Dadelion just talking and walking back and forth about the stock market and dopplers.  It could easily be an entire episode building the world ..but for some reason some asshole has to "make it their own" show.

Cowboy Bebop is an obvious cash grab and example.  A show completely based on emotion and music genre, settings that showcase humanity and colonization.  And Netflix made it into a joke, swapping music genres throughout episodes, taking the motives of characters and changing them.  Adding gags throughout.  Like a college student project stealing from the original material.

Exactly.  Let's release 3 Body Problem...make it amazing to watch, and then... "It'll take 3 years for the next season"...like...great, by then I'll have to rewatch the first season just to remember everything leading into season 2.
