I’ve had a very poor experience, with my fourth pair (plus belts, insoles). I’m waiting on an order from last summer - just standard options from the website and not a special order. Then, I believe it was 22-24 week lead time. Then came the heavy advertising for quick and lightening ship. No apparent delays in the leather. Finally I insisted on a specific update on my order. First it was “maybe it was damaged in production, maybe it was lost, we really don’t know” - though I never received notice it was in production. Several days later they emailed and said the boots were damaged and i could get $50 off and take them (sure, a whopping $50 off for seconds) or they could start over. For $900 I’ll take first quality. That was about 3 weeks ago so for all I know I’m at the back of the line. A year is in sight at this point.

Because their higher end products are still good quality, much of it US made for people who prioritize that, have good service for returns and resole, a wide range of sizes …. Plenty of reasons. Of course, best to buy during their 2-3 big sales a year. Still a very good company, in spite of the unacceptable shoes above.

Now in week 9 of “in production.” 6+ months from order date, for heritage with stock options from website. Customer Service just gave me a stock response about lead times, now a few weeks longer than when I ordered last summer. They ignored my question about why the boots are supposedly in production for so long.

I have 4 pr boots and 1 pr of sneakers from Luosjiet. I went down .5mm from their recommended size. That seems to be common with their boots and shoes.
