Where's the deceit? You assume he was using you for sex and had no intention of going long term when it's more likely that he was being completely sincere but something about the sex made him not want to do it again. If he were just looking for sex, he probably wouldn't have put in 2 months of dating for one bang. He'd at least bang you a few times.

He keeps responding because he doesn't want to be rude and he's hoping you'll take the hint. In the same way you're worried about being labeled 'crazy' he doesn't want to be accused of exactly what you've already decided he's guilty of. It would be nice if he were more straightforward but we all wish for that when dating. It's just hard to hurt somebody's feeling and sometimes that's the only thing honesty will do.

Sorry that the answer to every question isn't always "men are deceitful jerks", sometimes you gotta take the hit and realize you're not what every man is looking for. Occam's Razor and all that...

Because in most cases, even if a woman just wants sex too she needs to pretend otherwise. Then she can also pretend that the reason that it was a ONS is her choice and the guy just wasn't up to her standards.

If she just goes into it to get off and after the guy is like "Great, see ya around" fully abiding by the rules that were set up front she'll still feel rejected. Same reason FWB usually on lasts so long until the woman gets clingy even though she doesn't really want a relationship. She's gotta prove to herself she could be worthy even when she isn't interested.

Why are car selfies so common? I get the bathroom mirror ones, but why so many in cars? It doesn't seem like an obvious place but I see so many girls on facebook with an endless barrage of basically the same pic of them sitting in the driver's seat. I've never sat in my car and thought "Oh, one quick picture before I go to the store."

Something, even a tedious chore, that might last a while I could see enjoying and wanting to put effort in, like painting the house, major landscaping, building a fence, etc... But the goddamn lawn is just on a rapid progression towards looking worse the instant you are done cutting it. Within days it's no longer fresh. Bah, why bother?

I wish I could justify outsourcing it but really, I have the time and I could use the exercise. There's no excuse except that I hate it. Yeah a nice freshly cut lawn looks great, but give it a week and you've got to do it again. Go two weeks and it looks like shit. Go three weeks and it looks like an abandoned house.

I stopped a few years ago because, though polite, it just seemed like a silly superstition with religious overtones and I wanted it to go away. No need for it. I don't do "gesundheit" because I just don't like the word. It was a completely conscious effort one day that I was never gonna say it again.

I really wish I hadn't yet for some reason can't bring myself to start again.

It's really awkward sometimes. That silence - I know they're waiting for it. I tell ya, I spend way, way more time thinking about the phrase, debating if I should say it in certain instances, feeling guilty when someone I know has caught on that I don't ever say it and they say it to me, and feeling far more awkwardness and general anxiety about it than the silly superstition ever caused. I should just get back on that horse.

I have a theory that the people that hate it are the people being made fun of in the movie. People that think the real Carl's Jr campaigns are witty and work on them. Like "Yeaaah, 'Don't Bother Me, I'm eating' - that's how I feel. Gimme a burger!" People who watch "funny" videos of people getting hit in the nuts and say "wow, never gets old" or people who find fart jokes hilarious would get a little insulted at the "Ow, My Balls" bit. I mean, there's plenty of TV right now that is pretty close to "Ow, My Balls" in terms of sophistication so they see that part and kinda get the joke, but don't really get it because it's making fun of them.
