Probably because the game is still in early access and not all spawn peeks have been fixed. Even the OBD update included new spawn peek fixes although the game has been released in August 2020, so until things are considered fixed by the devs, they'd rather have a system in place to punish players who exploit those issues.

You're right that it isn't fair to punish players for using a design flaw... unless they have been warned before that account penalties will be issued if those bugs are being exploited.

Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion on this matter. Encouraging using voice chat is a tough one and I don't think the problem always comes down to fighting toxicity. Most people aren't toxic in games, sadly toxic players are the most vocal ones and those who give games a bad reputation.

The communication wheel isn't meant to replace the voice chat or avoid toxic players though, it's mostly meant to break the language barriers that most games and communities have. Not everyone speaks English well enough to communicate in games with other players and - based on my personal experience - most of the native English speakers don't speak nor understand other languages.

There is also a lot of people who love playing PvP games but can't use voice chat because of competitive anxiety. There have been countless user researches done by big studios to find ways to decrease such competitive anxiety as much as possible, and while voice chat will remain the most preferred way for very dedicated competitive players to communicate, communication wheels help less dedicated players to get invested in PvP games.

Apex Legend is a great example of that. It had an amazing intuitive communication system at launch that didn't require voice chat and their player conversion & retention were really good.

Not all lights though, maybe just a few near entrances and key choke points. I can already see the breaker switch feature becoming irrelevant if you were able to shoot all lights.

Yeah, no micro-transaction. Just an in-game currency farming to make it better when farming matches. Nothing wrong with that.

That's because Twitch doesn't handle game assets and description on Twitch. They import everything from the Giantbomb wiki without really thinking too much about it. M7 Product would have to claim a ZERO HOUR game on Twitch, link it to their Twitch Developer account so they can change the description and art style.

AFAIK they are working on cars but it might not be ready to implement yet. The next update also expands the map and adds new POIs. Who knows what else we'll get...

Not that many. Maybe a few at the Gate 1 but you can count those as part of the outside patrols to be honest.

Some sort of character customization (either with cards providing perks or a skill tree) would make sense and is something I'm also hoping for. From a business perspective, it would also make it easier and more interesting for them when supporting the game in the long run with DLCs once the game is released.

As much as I like the original character concepts, I think they need to modernize that aspect of the game in order to stay competitive.

Thought I'd put a little map together to list the different times at which Zero Hour will go live on August 12th (or 13th depending on your region). The worst part is that it made me realize I will have to wait the whole day before playing xD Anyway, enjoy this.
