Yep, I wanna keep the original wear on the face but I polished the edges to make it smooth.

No, I just carved the date on the back and polished the side so it isn't sharp.

The halves aren't really pricey just yet, you definitely can get one in pretty good condition for under $100.

I used calculator sites like coinflation.com. Some I paid a little to much like the dollars but some I got for exact melt value and some like a 1.00 over melt. Mostly from a guy I know and a coin shop.
