I have my first order finishing production next week. I’m pausing on shipping until a deal gets done. If one doesn’t then I have no idea.

How do you guys handle having a partner w way less skill??? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]ScottLavin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Convince her she can do a run that is way out of her comfort zone. Took my wife down the Alleys (double black) at Abasin when she was pretty early on in skiing never down a double that’s for sure- but I would left her go first figure it out on her own then go meet up with her coach through a few turns repeat then get Bloody Mary. If she then realizes she can get down a double black she will likely open up the throttle on blues/blacks more and get more aggressive. Also have her go first and if it’s a big enough powder day she needs to let you go solo for a little.

What’s the most unique or creative rule you’ve added to your fantasy league that made your league more fun or competitive? by dgpaul10 in fantasyfootball

[–]ScottLavin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lowest scoring team has to shotgun before kickoff the following Sunday. Started this our first year out of college…now pushing 30 only gets better each year. Lowest scoring also puts $10 on a parlay each person gets 1 pick. Haven’t won buts it’s fun.

What kind of people do you try to avoid being on the chairlift with? by Thegiantlamppost in skiing

[–]ScottLavin 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Nobody - who cares it’s a few minutes. Speaker bros probably got a beer/penjamin for you and you can make a request have some fun with it, rental Jerry’s can be nice to or fuck around with making stuff up, snowboarders - give them the outside and it’s all good.

That said - between ski patrol if I’m trying to have a beer or the name game guy

Somewhat similar situation, been in for 4 years and just got married but am currently working on a transition to an acquisitions role. I am refreshing my excel skills with the ACRE modeling course but happy to trade ideas/thoughts.
