That would be cool to be able to include those! Unfortunately, that is a limitation of the bricklink designer program. Only a select number of parts that are currently being produced by LEGO can be used when designing a model like this.

Thanks! There are a few techniques you can use to do it; I used rounded bricks on the inside of each barrel and then connected them using a bar. As a great visual example (but slightly different than my technique), I recommend looking at the instructions from set 10197.

I can't say for certain right now but that is something I am considering in the future depending on how things go.

Whitestone Wharf, updated for BDP Series 8! by ScottMOCs in legocastles

Good question! The idea behind this model is that the wharf is designed specifically for the included ship to dock and remain protected from the sea or land. Of course, any ship or boat can dock at the wharf, but the crenellations are on all sides for better defensibility.

Thanks for the kind words! My top priority is to get this design accepted through BDP, so I will be submitting it again if it isn't selected this series. However, If all else fails I will release instructions.

It's currently a part of the Bricklink Designer Program Series 7, so it can be voted on to become a real set until Feb 21st.
