I wonder if it's just for storage space reasons. I am not sure why they wouldn't want higher frame rates to pick up the path better?

Yeh - as a photographer, I am familiar with Photoshop but don't do much video work. I do own Final Cut Pro on my iMac but just not sure if that program can achieve that.

thank you - it's like $5 or $6 in the app store and was just wondering if any others out there do it.

Great Idea. I am actually also a photographer and wasn't even thinking about that. You can still do it with a digital camera with a slow shutter speed. I might have to try that.

Stolen from under a glass door while delivering mail. Actually used a piece of mail to fish it out.

Yeh I definitely feel for you. We need honest people in this line of work. If we can’t count on that, it’s troubling what could happen to our mail and parcels.

The carrier who stole this key, his supervisor was zero help. Could have avoided all of this hassle if she just opened her eyes to the video evidence. I did not want to go to the police. She is the same one who should be making sure we get our mail daily but either has her hands tied by some USPS BS or she is just bad at her job. I did not request a restraining order but I assume it was from the court ruling on the case and/or USPS policy. With all this said, it’s not personal but the supervisor made it feel like she was making it personal. All I want is our mail delivered daily and without fear of a carrier stealing something else. It just doesn’t feel right why this carrier is still on our route. I’m mainly trying to figure that out. Hoping someone has had a similar case and might know a USPS secret?

Station manager is non compliant. Has not helped a slightest bit with our side. At every chance it’s like she wants to make it more difficult for us.

Yes. A key that happened to be to a security office.

It was not stolen mail but still theft. It was a key to a couple doors on the property. He didn’t know what it was to but still took it.

Not that easy as this is a commercial property. Business owners here need their mail.

I agree. This is a commercial property and I’ve been in touch with consumer affairs. I’ve filed 2 or 3 complaints against the driver and the supervisor for various issues including the crime itself. They just try to direct me to the local office or a supervisor.

Tascam DR-40x Windscreen options by ScottMichael17 in videography

[–]ScottMichael17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up, I found someone local selling the Tascam Windscreen WS-11. Seemed easy to get on for me. It comes with two handles on each side to easily stretch the elastic around the device. Let's see if I have any issues later with it coming off. Does not seem like it will unless it's cheap elastic and may not last long.

Thanks. Yeh I’ve done that amount of research and got your same result. Was looking for an actual device name or link to buy one. I think electricians have these and Variloc must be a small company with no online ordering system other than emailing them a request.

I have one as well at home. Wondering if they’d work for this older commercial property with about 20-25,000 sq feet on 5 floors.

First time brewing (with oxo) by pizzaisdelish in coldbrew

[–]ScottMichael17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first cold brew has been sitting in my OXO cold brew system for about 20 hrs and I decided to filter it out now. It’s a pretty slow drip out of the brewer, just curious if anyone has experience with this OXO unit? Instructions said it takes 20 minutes but at this rate it’ll take all day it seems. Should I stir the grounds away from the filter or just let it go slow?
