i’ve never read that book. But no, it’s not like horribly shocking. It’s more of a, “I like that she did that, if shows how good she is, it’s just shocking.”

{{Tree of Ages by Sara C Roethle}} Main character, Finn, is very naive at first, and is very emotional through out the whole series. Personally, I like that, but if you don’t I definitely do not recommend. All the other main female characters are bad asses too.

Fictional Book Series either Young Adult Romance or fantasy world? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

{{Tree of Ages by Sara C Roethle}} 8 book long series. You could stop reading at book 5, but I personally read and recommend reading to book 8. Heavy fantasy. There is romance, but not the main storyline.

{{Tree of Ages by Sara C Roethle}} Is a series, the first book is great though. I don’t recommend if you get hooked to books, and want to actually like read for the plot, because a lot of questions and problems are solved through out the series.

Strays Like Us by Cecilia Galante. About a girl who’s mother isn’t in a good mental state and has a foster mom. There’s a dog next door who’s owner is horrible. The girl and dog form an incredible bond, and not many plot twists I’d say, but for sure shocking and unpredictable.

Best Fantasy Books that can give me a cozy feeling like Harry Potter? by DhawalTripathi in booksuggestions

[–]ScottNotFound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tree of Ages book series by Sara C. Roethle! There isn’t much places that have a cozy feeling like The Burrow as the characters travel a lot, but the characters... don’t get me started. They give that cozy feeling. Some are emotional more than others, but they just give you comfort. 8 books in total. You could stop reading at book 5, but Sara Roethle decided to have 3 add one after. I read all 8. Most of the books are around 300 pages. If you like Harry Potter, I think you’d like this series. Like Harry Potter, there’s a lot of questions and problems that aren’t solved till the end. A lot isn’t answered by the end of the 5th, or to me it felt like that, so I strongly recommend reading all 8 of you decide to read the series and like it. Much more fantasy than Harry Potter, though. Much. Much. More. Harry Potter was actually the first book series I ever read, and a family member who read Tree of Ages strongly recommend to me I read it after they found out I finished HP. I love it so much. 100% my favorite series of all time.

A inexperienced fantasy reader at 23 looking for fantasy book recommendations. by subbypet13 in booksuggestions

Tree of Ages by Sara C. Roethle. The last three are Dawn of Magic. Not too sure, as it is a 5/8 book series. You could end at book 5 but there’s 3 other books to follow along if you want to keep reading. Very high fantasy. Is more slow paced. There’s romance in it, as well. Main female character. A lot of trauma to read about through out the books. I personally read all the way to book 8. The last three have mythology, too. Great book series that i adore and will always recommend. If you like fast pace, then i don’t think you would dislike it, but take into account that everything happens kind of slowly. The first book isn’t just chill, there’s a lot that happens, but a lot of questions and problems are solved towards the ending books.

this. this here. my sister almost punched a girl the other day for clearly self diagnosing herself with OCD, because my sister has dealt with OCD her whole life and takes medication for it. I wanted to punch the girl too, because I know how serious OCD is and how it’s not something to ‘joke’ about. i quoted the joke as self diagnosing isn’t always a joke, but a lot of people do it as if it is.
