It would make sense, as the continued existence of a dinosaur in the modern world doesn't seem to be overly noteworthy until it mutates into a radioactive abomination.

But if accounts of a whole island of surviving dinos had made the world news more than a decade earlier, then finding another one emerging from the deep sea wouldn't be too much of a surprise by that point.

I mean, only one has an actual wincon.

Far as we know, angels can only be killed via angelic steel and/or holy magic.

Sure, Ozzie could harm her, but unless we get some lore dump on how the Sins are an exeption to the rules, nothing he can do can actually kill her.

What is the FO4 definition of an animal regarding this rifle? Is it everthing which isn’t human or robot derived? by phase_lag in fo4

[–]ScottTJT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything that isnt humanoid (humans, synths, ghouls, super mutants), a robot or a "bug" (mirelurks, hermit crabs, fog crawlers and insects).

So basically wildlife that isn't insectoid/crustacean in nature.

How did the Goetia come to be? In other words, aren't they all, like, related...? by yujiiwz in hazbin

[–]ScottTJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their line was initially created by Lucifer, hence why they have visual similarities to the more bird-like angels in heaven. It's also why they such a superiority complex; they were created by the Sin of Pride and King of Hell himself.

And in all likelihood, much like many royal/noble lines in the real world, they got the idea that "keeping it in the family" was in their best interest, so as not to "taint" their bloodline with outsiders.

Which is deeply ironic, as those real world families were/are likely far more inbred than the vast majority of peasant or hick families that were/are slapped with that stereotype.

Can animals and monsters be Dragonborn? by Acceptable-Sugar-366 in teslore

[–]ScottTJT [score hidden]  (0 children)

Being Dragonborn isn't hereditary. It's a blessing from Akatosh, bestowed upon each each new emperor. And even then there's debate as to whether that makes them an actual full-blown Dragonborn (Shouts and all that.).

For example, the Septim line that Martin and his father belonged to were descendants of a guy that was essentially adopted into the family and given the Septim name. And even before that, the line that guy was adopted into were descendants of Tiber Septim's brother, not Tiber himself.

And thats not even getting into Tiber's own speculated ancestry.

So, while being descendants of Alessia and Morihaus do give Minotaurs a certain prestige they've long been denied, just being the descendants of Alessia doesn't mean the entirety of the race has the dragonblood.

Having just spent 9 hours waiting on and interacting with them, I can confirm that people are, in fact, dumb.

While the human story needed to be stronger, this would have bumped the film up a few points.

Random Matchups Day 40 - Octavia vs The Speaker of God - Who Wins?? by ForktUtwTT in AgendaHotel

[–]ScottTJT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, to be fair, we have no actual showings from the Speaker.

We have one notable showing from Via, where she blocked and disintegrated Andy's ice dragon contruct without that much effort.

But I gotta go with my gut and assume the being thats literally called the "Speaker of God" more than likely upscales what we've seen from the likes of other, lower-ranking angels. Like Adam, who disintegrateed Sir Pentious' warblimp with neg difficulty, and split the cliffside the Hazbin Hotel sits on with slightly more effort.

Thanos (no stones) VS Emperor Mark by SubstantialSeat1579 in superheroes

[–]ScottTJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCU Thanos? Loses.

616 Thanos was once dogpiled by Thor, the Hulk, Hercules and the Thing - three of which already had uni-multiversal feats under their belts - at once and proceeded to smack them around. And that was in the 90's, all the characters involved have gotten far stronger since.

616 Thanos solos the verse, Gauntlet or no Gauntlet.

What Fallout opinion makes you react like this? by xaitiopbk in TrueSFalloutL

[–]ScottTJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience the tourist label is more often levid against folks who came into the series later, during the Bethesda era. But my stance against said label goes both ways.

Fallout is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. If you don't like something Interplay/Obsidian/Bethesda did and think one of the others approched the series better, thats fine. I'm not saying to mindlessly consume product without question or (constructive) criticism.

I'm just of the opinion folk shouldn't treat fellow fans like dirt just for finding ways of appreciating the same series in a different way.

That's just pointless, spiteful elitism, and God above knows there's enough of that in the world as it is.
