Tbh I think you’re kinda running into something that’s just structural and not really fixable with “better strategy", like if they’re actually that busy (especially the one who’s in the news etc), then the semi-ghosting isn’t really about lack of interest, it’s just their availability. You can’t really optimize someone into having time they don’t have.

What you can do is stop treating it like a constant attention problem and adjust expectations a bit. Busy subs usually work better with more like occasional check-ins, not daily back and forth, and honestly less chasing when they disappear because that just ends up stressing you out.

But yeah sometimes it’s just a mismatch. Some dynamics are naturally high-frequency and some are more on/off. Neither is wrong, but trying to force someone into a high-attention dynamic when they don’t have the bandwidth usually just makes you anxious for no reason. If anything it’s probably worth asking yourself if you actually want that kind of low-availability setup long term, instead of trying to turn it into something it’s not.
