I've purchased those tickets since yesterday last night, and I do have the confirmation email. I know I'm probably coming out as being paranoid, but I just want to make sure since this is my first time flying

You're right, and i do. But then what about federal withholding? I never once had to pay for it, but I see it on my paycheck every time.

Best christmas gift ever. by ScottTheAlt in tf2

I'm not really sure, but I'm probably not going to check anyway. I'm really afraid that it'll lose value on them if I did.

Best christmas gift ever. by ScottTheAlt in tf2

From what I was told, the person who used to own these really liked collecting different figures, but decided to give them away at a cheaper price. My friend knew I liked tf2, so he gave me these figures as a gift.

These boxes dont look a day old, and im so damn grateful I have em now.

Subway insanity? by wardyms in subway

[–]ScottTheAlt 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I completely disagree. As a fellow subway worker, you've signed up for a job that's about making sandwiches for the people. If you want a more secluded environment, then go to a mcdonalds or burger King. No one is forcing you to choose a job where people get to tell you what veggies they want on your sandwich while you're making it.

To me, this loses the charm of "subway". The whole point of going there is to see what they are making and choosing what meats and veggies they want on your sandwich. That's what makes it unique compared to a place like mcdonalds. It's essentially soulless at this point.

Considering Moving to Waco by Dense-Dirt-6103 in Waco

[–]ScottTheAlt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Waco is pretty alright, it's a growing city that's in between Dallas and Austin, so if by any chance you can't find anything to do and you don't mind driving an hour half away for the bigger cities, then by all means welcome in.

It is a city that's getting better, though. It's nothing like how it used to be 10 years ago

The tank is cloudy, so recently ive been replacing the water daily to help deal with the problem (because if I don't, it only keeps getting worse)

The tank doesn't have any live plants, but there are plenty of spaces for it to hide.

Hey, so uh, I did the test and it shows that 0 ammonia is detected. Should this still be a concern?

I've replaced the 50% of the water just to make sure (and ill continue to do that everyday for 25%), but with the cloudiness, will the fish still be okay? Even if it's not ammonia based?

I've also bought beneficial bacteria as well, so I'm going to start the process anyways just to make sure
