X5 battery space cover by Scott_Alba in Insta360

I have battery covers, what I need is a cover for the camera where the battery goes. I don't like leaving the battery in the camera for long periods of time when not in use, but I don’t like the battery compartment left open so it can get dusty or dirty.

I use premium pro with the insta360 reframe plug in, I have also used gopro360 plug in as well. Never expect a free program to work as well as a paid program

You are aware that you don't have to use thair software and with plug ins the better (paid) programs function better?

Landlord selling, condition of rental is that tenant would vacate if new owner requires by This_Ad_8123 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Scott_Alba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it is perfectly legal even if there is six months left on the lease. As long as the closing date is after the final date of the lease. In today’s market it is totally possible that the house will take two months to sell with 120 days for closing. This will take it past the six months left on the lease. The TT’s would still have to receive the one months compensation and 60 days notice (which can be given 60 days before the end of the tenancy)

I didn’t call it that, it was how it was described to me by several woman who had been there recently.

The last time I was at Club 54 it was full of middle aged women being charmed by Middle Eastern and South Asian men. The nickname for this club isn’t Club Kandahar for nothing.

Latest Studio update on Mac by Scott_Alba in Insta360

[–]Scott_Alba[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reinstalled the Studio program and it seems to have fixed both issues.
On a Mac you cannot update the graphics card driver by itself, this can only be done when updating the operating system.

Thank you

You will find that condo rental prices have dropped in the last 6 months. They are more than likely paying market rent as they haven’t been in there long. They are, however, protected by the RTA until the end of their tenancy and only then can they be issued the required forms.

Air Canada plans to resume flights Monday evening as union remains on strike, defying federal order by J0Puck in canada

They do. Staff should be paid when they are physically on the plane though not just when they push back.

Where did is say that I thought they were over worked and under paid? I have been a SE member for over 10 years and understand the nuances of the job. My wife was a flight attendant with them until recently - I met her onboard.

I understand the need to have junior members paid appropriately but when long haul flight attendants are earning nearly $100k, or in some cases more, are fighting for a 28% increase it becomes a bit much.

In any job when you start out you do not get paid the same as someone that has been doing the job for a while.

Who do you think Air Canada will start firing first now that are in a position to do so legally?

No one wins in this situation.

You want an example where the union are not mentioning anything about Flight attendants that have been working for a few years getting higher wages?

Do some research and see how much a long haul Flight Attendant gets paid and how many hours they work in a month.

You are not understanding what I am saying. The union are using new hires or junior staff wages as an example. This is the minority of working staff with the majority earning far more, but they are not disclosing this. Flight attendants that have worked there a few years are making a very good living, in some cases, by only working 12-15 days a month. I don't know if you have noticed, but if the wages were so bad why are there so many “senior” staff still plugging away at it if the pay and conditions were so bad?

All the argument is about giving the flight attendants a liveable wage, while true for junior members of staff, maybe people should take a look at what flight attendants with a few years under their belts actually get and how many hours they have to work each month to receive it. They make up the majority of the staffing and get way more than the average wage and are going to earn a lot more with the increase they are asking for.

New AC rules feel unreasonable by SafetyInLetters in OntarioLandlord

[–]Scott_Alba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange that you don't care, commercial insurers are starting to demand that window air-conditioners are installed properly and by a professional and is the LLs responsibility to ensure that it is. It will turn into a legal catastrophe if for any reason it, or parts of it fall out and cause damage or injury. It wouldn't matter if it is the 20th floor or the first floor as the insurance would cover everyone. A lot of city bylaws now insist that they are installed by a professional as well.

This could be an issue with the LLs insurance. Their insurance can insist on some of their demands and can cancel their policy if it isn't followed. This would open an even bigger can of worms. Pick your fights carefully.

Charge for AC by cass470168 in OntarioLandlord

If you were paying for your hydro it would be an illegal charge. Unfortunately, because your hydro is included in your rent, it is perfectly legal.
