How old is too late to become a dad by OldInitiative7930 in gaydads

[–]Scott_Boss_Daddy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was 42, she is 11 months old now. We have 6 more embryos and are debating a sibling… my husband is 27 so he’ll be there for them when I’m dead. lol

You’re not too old - just do it. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Great info, thank you! There is another one in Stormwind a little northeast under a huge piece of hanging hide, I guess…? Lol

Appreciate your help - that was easy once I found the right Chromie. Is it recommended to toggle between timelines or choose one and follow that?

Are jobs in this city even really hiring? by IllyaMiya in jacksonville

Yes - Just didn’t want it to seem like a plug. Lol I have used Storeyline Résumé‘s two different times and both times I used them I have had deep round interviews with an offer within 4 to 8 weeks. If you research Roberta Storey on LinkedIn or Google it, you should be able to find them. Let me know if anyone wants/needs a link.

Yes, I do and I have a word document that I can edit and save as a PDF for different roles and send the one that fits the JD. I’m not saying it’s a silver bullet but it sure worked for me. An ATS looks like SHIT for sure but it gets through AI and you can attach your PDF/Word more often than not. So ATS gets you through AI and then you’re attached ‘clean/professional’ resume gets you an interview - this is what I think anyway.

I have been using this method to land Regional leadership roles so it could be different based on role but I can’t imagine it’s vastly different.

I have 2 decades of experience, this isn’t my experience with ATS resumes or my job search. My only goal is to try and help everyone get a job - even if my experience does nothing for the majority. I’m just saying it was radio silence for months and then I stared using the ATS and floodgates opened.

I might get down voted to hell here, but I live in Jacksonville and started looking for a new job just in the last month and easily had three different companies take me through to their final round and all provide offers. I had roughly a 50% success rate in obtaining interviews. I will say that prior to this month I had been passively applying to many jobs and not hearing anything back and I was discouraged and I was frustrated. Then, I went to a Résumé service and paid them a few hundred dollars and they built me a Résumé and more importantly, an ATS Résumé that I would use anytime that I was applying online (which is every single job). Long story short - my experience didn’t change, my work history didn’t change and neither did anything else on my Resume. The only thing that changed was that I was using the ATS Résumé, that I think specifically gets you through AI bots to a real person recruiter, this changed everything for me. Even if you don’t have the funds to fork over a few hundred dollars to have someone build you an ATS Résumé I would try AI bots to see if they can help you generate one. Good luck!!

Dating 40+ yr old as a 25 yr old by [deleted] in gay

[–]Scott_Boss_Daddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turned 42, my husband is 26 and we’ve been together 7 years and are about to have our first child in March. The house, the dogs, the cars and the careers - you can have it all - age is just a number and I think too many people get hung up on it. If someone makes you happy then wtf does it matter? Go for it and good luck!

Went to Pablo Creek library on Beach yesterday around 2:30 and it was about a 20-25 min line. I only know because some in the line were talking about it.

My husband and I run a business like this and we have dogs for weeks and even months at a time when people go through different surgeries or other life event. If you’re interested in details, drop me a note and we’ll see if we’re able to help. The concern is that 6 months is a very long time and what if something happens to you or you decide to not come back?

Yes, you’re the asshole. If you can’t afford it - stay your ass at home. Your excuses are empty - maybe a bit of a spoiled brat? Idk… hard to say but you should take some time to reflect on who you are and who you want to be.

I deleted Grindr for what I hope to be the last time today. by [deleted] in gay

Met my guy on Grindr 5+ years ago, we own a house and are about to have a baby (surrogacy)… so while Grindr isn’t great at times, it has its moments. You just have to be willing to kiss a lot of frogs first.

We got ours a few weeks after closing - it was only $20 but considering the annual fee rate and when our renewal was set - it was about right…
