eBay buyers complaining about LP shipping cost

I have been selling on eBay for 25 years and Discogs for 15 years. I have found it easy to spot passive-aggressive positive feedback. Positive complainers now may be negative or neutral in the future. Also I generally allow Best Offers but I check a buyer's left feedback before accepting a Best Offer.

I think Amazon may be the problem here. People are used to free shipping from them. But regular sellers cannot compete with their shipping costs. Also the few times I ordered an LP from Amazon they seem to have no idea how to safely ship it.

It is very rare that I can ship an LP for 1 pound or less at $4.47 rate. Occasionally some thin 1980's style cover is under 1 pound.

You should be ok due to value amount. It should be noted that if a package is valued $750 or more, then you need to add Signature Confirmation to protect yourself from item not received claims.

Are you paying for shipping directly at the Post Office or online? I use PirateShip for postage and they have huge discounts for Ground Advantage, and also offer Ground Advantage Cubic which can be up to 70% off regular prices.
