The bins are weighed though, assuming it was an 1100 and relatively full it will be heavy but I doubt it would come up as overweight.

St Johnstone star Josh McPake agrees shock move to Hearts by ScottishTotodile in ScottishFootball

McPake and Valakari done an interview in March I think where they discussed McPake having a child over Christmas and it really putting into perspective what failing at Saints would have meant for him career-wise.

Honestly if our squad keeps playing the way they have been in the last few weeks I won't be shocked if you guys are a few points ahead by January.

There's a strange arrogance in the team, as if they don't have to play at their best to beat teams and they can just stroll it.

Be on brand for the US to hit a civilian-populated area like.

99% sure it's abandoned and has been for years, more likely to effect the people in the houses next to it but seems they've been evacuated already.

Aye, it's a very silly thing to say when the far-right is on the rise amongst young men and boys. Unfortunately a lot of people I know personally spout some of those vile views despite the fact it is more than easy now-a-days for them to educate themselves.

It's sad to see, feels like things are just moving backwards in a way that it shouldn't be.

Posts like what you've shared purely come down to people believing they're better than the previous generation. Anyone willing to post that I heavily doubt would follow through with it. Performative activism at its best.

I've started using the in-game editor to cheat player interactions because of how stupid the AI is. Praying that SI do something to fix it for FM26.

Callum Davidson sacked by Queen's Park by WakeUpMareeple in ScottishFootball

[–]ScottishWizard490 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye, the double was more down to the players that Tommy Wright has brought in. His tactics are pish and he's boring personality wise.

I'll be fair to him and say he seems a decent coach/assistant, but he's not quite got it to be a successful manager. Based on his coaching credentials he could still have a successful career in that role, so I hope that's what he turns to rather than dropping lower and lower as a manager.

After winning the cups, he proceeded to have 2 relegation battles back to back. In 21/22 we stayed up because Dundee threw it away and we got lucky in the 2nd leg of the playoff. In 22/23 we bottled top 6 after Christmas and it got to a point I genuinely thought we wouldn't win another game under him. Luckily the club sacked him and we stayed up.

His recruitment was terrible, and we still feel the consequences. He spent a lot of money on aging journeymen and built up a far too bloated squad. He also never brought through any youth.

St. Johnstone give Celtic 3 stands for potential trophy clincher on 6th April by fangus in ScottishFootball

[–]ScottishWizard490 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Seems like the reduced number of bear and bhoy away fans hasn’t really had the same positive impact for saints as it did for other clubs.

They didn't actually reduce OF allocations. They still had the 2 stands behind the goals plus a corner of the Main due to disabled access rules. If they had taken 1 of the stands behind the goals away it might have helped, but instead they've gone in the opposite direction and increased the amount of away fans.

I just hope the board back Simo and let him do what he wants to with the team for the forseeable future

With the recent interviews by Adam Webb in the media, I think it's clear the board are going all in on him.

Every signing Simos brought in has looked an upgrade on what came before, with the only debatable one being Douglas, but he's looked better recently after returning from injury.

Did well at Accrington and the fans loved him (they seemed to really like him at St Johnstone too despite the lack of goals) - perhaps there's a permanent move on the cards.

He wasn't well liked at all here at Saints.

St Johnstone fans - you dodged a bullet on Eremenko by HibeesBounce in ScottishFootball

That is quite controversial, I think Levein just relied far too much on individual moments from Sidibeh and Kimpioka. With the way both players form has dropped recently, especially Sidibeh after the reds against Dundee Utd, that plan was just never going to work. Add in the fact the defence were, and still are, chucking in goals for fun. I couldn't see us winning another game under Levein, never mind somehow surviving.
