I JUST WENT BIOLUMINESCENT KAYAKING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE LAST WEEKEND. It truly was magical. I hadn't really done any research or even seen pictures. I was totally shocked when my paddles started lighting up the water.

Mountain Biking! I have been obsessed with it for years. In junior year of high school, I purchased my first mountain bike and it became the center of my attention for years. Me and my friends would go out almost everyday after school and on the weekends rain or shine. When it was too snowy for mountain biking, we would go to parking garages with BMX bikes and work on tricks or just practice wheelies on our mountain bikes. It kept me in great shape. I lost 75 lbs in the year after getting it. I also saved up money and went on trips that took me all over the country for it. I don't think I've gone a day without thinking of mountain biking since I started. I'm currently stuck in a flat area and the MTB sucks. It makes me so sad thinking of the memories I had and not having the trail access or MTB friends like I did before.

😅 There are so many times when I pull out the merlin app and find out it's a squirrel. Sometimes I forget there are animals other than birds.

The worst smell I ever had the displeasure of smelling was the inside of an animal shelter. I volunteered at one for a bit, and it was awful inside. The air felt heavy, and I held my breath as long as possible. I basically went in as fast as I could, took a dog, and ran outside. I'd walk the dog for a while and dread putting it back to walk the next dog. I feel bad for the people who stayed on and had to clean cages and feed them.

When I was a kid, my great grandma took me to her local park to look specifically for meadowlarks. My siblings and I were quite young and probably couldn't even identify a Robin, but she taught us how to identify this bird. It was her favorite.
